I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

Alright. What the HELL is King Andrias’ deal?

Today’s episode gave us our first official glimpse of this guy, and I’m not gonna lie, he has some Big Evil Energy in that clip.

But we also see his design in the season 2 poster, and

He’s got this Big Softy smile going on. This does not give me evil vibes. This gives me Kind Old Man vibes. And the description for next week’s episode says something about the king sending Anne and the gang on a mysterious scavenger hunt, which I think says less “evil mastermind” and more “Quentin Trembley III, Esq.”, though that might just be me.

But then there’s the implication in the past few episodes that Newtopia has a bit of an iron fist thing going on. That doesn’t mesh very well with “cool puzzle-loving old dude”.

So where does that leave us? I suppose they could be going for a “he seemed good but was actually evil” plot twist, but that twist doesn’t really work when everyone already expects him to be evil. Honestly, it would be more of a twist for him to turn out to be absolutely fine, and our big bad is someone else entirely. Who knows, maybe he just really likes custom chess pieces.

You know who totally is evil, though? Lady Olivia.

Just look at her. I do not trust. Not one bit, no siree. And she’s English. 100% evil, for sure.

Honestly, I think it’s just too early to say anything about the king yet. Maybe he’s misguided but well-meaning. Maybe he’s a neutral entity with an eye for the bigger picture. Maybe he’s the King Kuei to Lady Olivia’s Long Feng. Or maybe he’s just straight-up evil.

I guess we’ll find out more next week.
