"OK, I think I have an idea."
"If it doesn't involve me in the process, go ahead." [Hero A] said, unbothered.
[Hero B] stared at his notebook for a while, noticing how [Hero A]'s name was written at least thirty time on a single page.
"Well nevermind, my idea is dumb anyway-"

"Look at the bright side of things, [Hero A]! See how the sun is shining today, how the sky is clear blue..."
"We're in a desert."

"I hate reptiles," [Hero A] said, sitting on the edge of his seat as they were about to watch the dragon race, back straight.
"Dragons are cool though, don't you think?" [Hero B] replied, noticing how disgusted his friend was looking. "Look, that one looks super cool and friendly!"
"They're like snakes. With legs. And teeth. Oh my God it's disgusting I'm out."
"HEY! DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE ME HERE ALL ALONE WITH THOSE MONSTERS-"

"So, it has come to my attention that some students around here are not respecting the basic rules of our institution by fighting in the corridors. I insist over the fact that the article 7.63-1 prohibes every student from fighting each other in non professional circumstances. And rules also apply to students and staff coming from other universes."
[Hero A] and [Hero B] looked away, both of their faces covered in bruises, hair a mess, freshly coming from the general's office after two hours of explaining why fighting was bad and how to deal with their emotions without rearranging each other's squeleton.
Did it work? Absolutely not.

[Hero A] was laughing out loud, hitting his fist against the wall, unable to stop himself. [Hero B] learned by now that [Hero A] never laughs that way, expect in two situations: first, when he panics, which was unlikely to be the case; then, when he makes fun of [Hero B], which was more likely to be the case.
