Happy Pride!
Every pride, you must reblog this. No exceptions
Anyone gonna mention how this guy actually preformed live with Carly Rae Jepsen?
I’m gonna scream is2g
I was thinking of reblogging this again just because the original video is still amazing, but then I see the second video and lost my mind. The upgraded fan, the body glitter, the sheer fact that he got to do this with the actual singer.
The swans ring the bell to be fed at the Bishop’s Palace, Wells, Somerset.
The tradition of Swans on the Moat at The Bishop’s Palace( adjacent to Wells Cathedral) goes back to 1870’s when one of Bishop Hervey’s daughters first taught the swans to ring a bell at the Gatehouse for for lunch to be fed to them by the caretakers who live in the gatehouse.
You can see the bell just beneath the window of the Gatehouse, with a rope hanging down for the swans to pull.
New generations of swans learn to ring the bell from their parents.

We need to go back to using sailing ships full time like immediately. Yes it would take longer to get places but the Aesthetic is unmatched
Like there is nothing sexier hthan this
Can’t wait for OP to get scurvy
Are you under the impression that the ships themselves are what caused scurvy
Once again. Do you think this is the fault of the ships themselves
For over 700 years, the Japanese have been using a special method called Daisugi to grow trees without cutting them down. It started in the 14th century and involves planting trees for the future and then pruning them like large bonsai trees. By doing this to cedar trees, they can get high-quality wood that's straight, smooth, and perfect for building.
With Daisugi, instead of chopping down the trees, they carefully prune them so they can keep growing and producing wood. This way, they can sustainably use the wood while also making sure the trees stay healthy and continue to live for a long time. Daisugi shows how people and nature can work together, using resources wisely while protecting the environment.

To anyone who is having a bad day, I give you this hamster wearing a flower hat.
This post is now ten years old and still circulating. It has outlived countless generations of hamsters and the entire Trump administration, and people still pass it around because this one photographer a decade ago decided to put a little goodness into the world, and it makes me so happy
This is what happens when you don’t vote
