The first part of my Wisdomverse fan comic, Interview for a Hero!

4 heroes enter a room. Their goal? Joining Wisdomverse.

However, despite the experience they have, the sadistic dork who's interviewing them has pulled out all the stops in order to make their goal as hard as possible.

The heroes in question are: the first hero, the hero of men, linkle, and the hero of light. Most of them are already canon to wisdomverse, if not the main Zelda canon, but all of them seek the precious bragging rights of actually appearing in a comic.

let's say I decided to make a little comic about the heroes that aren't in Wisdomverse. That'd be fun!

Let's see... Who should I have as the characters? Let's go with the first hero, the Hero of men, Linkle, and the hero of light. That'll be good! After all, besides Linkle, none of them have even really been mentioned in Wisdomverse!

Now I'm just gonna re-read TSWK for funsies. Of course, I'll skip the game notes. theyre optional, after all.

Surely the game notes won't include anything about the first hero, right? That'd be ridiculous. Right?

so... What's going on with the hero of men in Wisdomverse?

firstly, does he even have a nickname? What am I supposed to call him? "Men?" Thats...

More importantly... what's going on with him? Is he four? He can't be, right? Then four would have to have been 4 years old when he sealed the demons in the chest, and besides that being a hilarious image, it doesn't make much sense. The problem is, four shares a haircut with the hero of men, so it would possibly get confusing if he ever appeared in Wisdomverse. If he even does.

Not sure why I asked this.

Also notice how I have him a helmet that looks like the bound chest? Clever, right? Right?

first of all: Wisdomverse is made by @linderosse. But you probably already knew that.

second of all: this ain't a rom hack. I just made a hypothetical intro sequence for a The Secrets We Keep video game.

third of all: all the music in this has been slowed down to hopefully avoid copyright infringement. Plus, this is legally a Link to the Past parody!

fourth of all: I can't code. I don't know any coding languages. Don't expect me to make a full Wisdomverse game from scratch.

finally: if you wanna code a Wisdomverse game, go for it! Just remember to credit @linderosse for making wisdomverse. Oh, and if you do make a Wisdomverse game, it better be free to play. After all, if you make a profit off of your game, Nintendo will pummel you with cease and desist suits until you surrender. And I know if they came after me, I'd just take my stuff off the internet. Haha! I've figured something out! I think!

So basically in time's refrain chapter 1, (made by @linderosse check her out) it mentions that after fallen gets killed in the downfall timeline, zelda, the 7 sages, and mido (for some reason idk) have to work together to take down a fully powered up ganon. However, the fic also mentions that they were helped by someone called the "scholarking."

So, who is the scholarking?

It's kasuto. Why?

A: kasuto's doppelganger in termina, kafei, has at least one line about reading about stuff... I think. Uh, I have a better point.

B: In Zelda 2, the town's all share the names of Zelda characters. They are: Rauru, Ruto, Saria, Nabooru, Darunia, Mido (ohhh) and most importantly, Kasuto. Why is this relevant? Well, zelda 2 takes place in the same timeline as the one the scholarking comes from! Obviously the people who helped save the kingdom would get memorialized in some way.

So, I think when Lullaby meets kasuto in time's refrain, she's gonna get a flashback from elegy's life.

So @linderosse. Am I correct? Am I at least close?

The question is, what other name does the white sword have? Is it the goddess sword? ugh..

yeah the white sword that has been handed to echo is the white sword from Zelda 1(wich is the second strongest weapon in the game, only losing to the magic sword)

as for the sword having another name it is a connection original to wisdomverse, so perhaps behind the crude sprite work and the unkind years that this weapon lay in wait in a cave might be something far more refined

Thank you to mob for all the support! It 's become increasingly rare to find nice people in the internet, and I'm glad I have stumbled into a fandom which won't crucify me if I kill off their favorite character.

Why am I talking about this? Well, I've finally begin writing my au! (After a week of brainstorming, no less.) On the other hand, I have had little success with finding out what weapon echo has post-decline. Please someone tell me, or I'll just start listing off weapons from various properties.

Also, that white sword hint is all I needed... I think. In the Oracle games, legend forges a new master sword from a white sword. It stands to some reason that the royal family would keep it. At least, I think that's what you're referring to. If not, just say "no."
