Winter traveling has brought me to a coffee shop that makes other coffee shops jealous. The Dark Horse Cafè is the definition of the A-Typical hipster Cafè, and I could not help but feel like I am in my element. It was love at first sight, and I am depressed I had to leave to travel home.
So has anyone ever had one of those nights where your mind won’t be quiet, so the only way to quiet it down is by grabbing a book and reading? Yeah, well that was me last night! I grabbed my small book light and picked up “ The Last Sin Eater,” and read the first chapter. It was so great to get back into reading since I haven’t picked up a book in months ( thanks to being a working college kid). Hopefully I’ll remember to make time to read more.
Happy Sunday Everyone! I took this photo along with the photo I posted previously. I like this one a lot because of the flannel background, mostly because I wear flannels too many days in a week. Fall is officially here and I am so happy!! October is my favorite month, I love to watch the leaves change and the rainy days! It's the sweater weather that just makes me want to curl up and read a good book! - -
HAPPY NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!!!!!!! Make sure to stop by your local coffee shop and get yourself a cup of joe! I woke up this morning to a message my dear friend sent me that was wishing my a Happy National Coffee Day! I sprung up from my bed, made a cup of coffee, and took this photo with my hard cover books! - - - I hope everyone enjoys their coffee today!!!! - -
Comment your favorite fictional character!!!! Hello everyone!!! FALL IS HERE!!! And that means FLANNELS!!!! I don't know about you guys but I LOVE flannels! I'm so excited for a cool weather! I am so sorry I haven't posted for a while, I was out of ideas for pictures, and also my current reads are textbooks. I am so tired of not pleasure reading that I think I am going to set some time aside to start reading " The Last Sin Eater," by Francine Rivers. So cross your fingers that I'll be able to make time! I missed posting and hopefully I'll get out of my funk and get back into the groove of things. Hope everyone is doing a fantastic, and can't wait to read everyone's favorite fiction characters! - -
{ Dreaming of ButterBeer} Friday is just a day away and I can’t wait! I wish I could say I was going to Hogsmeade for the weekend to have some ButterBeer after a long week of potions homework, but I guess I can suffice with coffee. ☺️☕️
Yesterday I visited a new coffee shop that opened up near my work. What's really unique about this café is that they serve coffee on tap, yes on tap! So for those who are under the legal drinking age, have coffee from a keg!! Legal and refreshing! I fancied myself a White macadamia nut latte with my new favorite band, Twenty One Pilots! Two more days till Friday everyone! Hang in there!
{ Attention all Kindle Readers} For those of you who love sci-Fi where robot have taken over our homes and rule our culture. Then I recommend a fun short story that is the first part of a 6 part novella entitled, " A Few Years From Now," by David Poland. Available for $.99 on kindle! Check it out and tell me how you like it!
{ Story Time} I was roaming around a cafe attempting to snap some photos of people enjoying their coffee meet up with their friends. I ran across a group of 4 people who were enjoying a nice conversation together. I asked them if I could take a photo of their books and coffee and when they gave me permission, I climbed up on a chair and took this photo! They were super sweet and it was great capturing a photo of friends gathering together sharing stories and laughing together. I believe everyone should spend time with their friends, either over coffee, backpacking, or whatever!!!
Hey Everyone!!!! Leave a note or whatever saying how Hary Potter impacted your childhood! I'm doing a project on the impact and I would love to hear different views on why this marvelous book series means so much to people!
{ Wednesday Crunch} Finally after two days of drinking coffee that were made in a hurry, I finally made time to take my work to my local coffee shop and have a nice iced latte, it was such perfection that it was gone before I could even think about taking a picture! After 3 hours of sticking my nose into my work, I can now leave with an open schedule for my evening so I can spend time with the people I love. - - - I finished " Accidental Universe!" Soon I'll post a review on it for everyone to read if they are interested! I will say that I highly recommend it to book worms who enjoy a non-fiction read about science!
{ Monday Blues} Happy Monday everyone! This Monday is my first Monday back to the old grind. My daily coffee was not made in a giant mug with beautiful art, it was instead made in a strofoam cup with Hot coco mix as my sweetener.. And instead of a coffee shop it was in my work place, but that's okay it still have me the boost I need to get through the day!! - - My current read " Accidental Universe," is turning out better than I expected! It's not my A-Typical genre ( fiction) but every chapter finds a way to blow my mind with amazing facts about science and the universe!
