Last Listened to: “Land o’ the Leal”, particularly the Outlaw Kings version. I only learned it recently but it’s such a lovely, sad song (and in Scots, which is one of my favorite languages/dialects to listen to)

Color: Blue! I own a frankly ridiculous number of blue things. But I do quite like green, it’s a close second.

Currently Watching: Nothing consistently. Usually when I have the time I put on an episode of whatever sounds fun (or I have access to). Lately it’s been a mix of various Star Wars things, Star Trek Voyager, the Granada Sherlock Holmes series, the original MacGyver, and a couple of other shows my friends got me into

Currently Reading: the Jedi Apprentice books (aren’t I always), the Sherlock Holmes stories, and a lot of research papers

Current Obsession: Star Wars! It’s the main reason for this blog :) Particularly Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, who else! Other competing favorites include the Sherlock Holmes books, the color of new leaves in spring, and the change and spread of the word “Hello” across languages following the invention of the telephone

Currently Working on: A bunch of work stuff, unfortunately. I do have a couple fic projects in the background (*glances at the half-finished third installment of the JA AU series*) which I work on when I have the chance. And I’ve been trying to teach myself sashiko. And Portuguese. (I’m not very good at either but it’s fun)

Last Listened to: Are we talking just music? In that case, it's going to be Here Come the Warriors by Sam Tinnesz. If audiobooks, I'm listening to Dune by Frank Herbert and it's as good as I anticipated, maybe better,

Color: Currently I'm going to say black, because I wear it every single day (partially for my job, partially because it matches everything lol).

Currently Watching: The Poirot and Miss Marple TV series! I found DVDs of both, complete collections, so it only cost me one time and I can watch them without a subscription. I adore the books and absolutely love seeing the stories on the screen. (Also, Geraldine McEwan - girl, you were Miss Marple. I miss ya.)

Currently Reading: Still working through the Jedi Apprentice series and struggling through Master and Apprentice. I thought I would love it because it has four of my favorite dudes - Dooku, RAEL, Qui-Gon, and Obi-Wan - but it is just not interesting to me at the moment. I agree with others on here who have said the author seems to hate Qui-Gon, and that vibe is not appealing to me. I'm also trying to do better about not forcing myself to finish books I don't like, just because I started them, so that one might get shelved or donated.

I'm also reading the Alex Rider series, proofreading for munchkin sibling. They're obviously for a younger audience, but they're fun.

Current Obsession: Star Wars! And my research for another, irl project.

Currently Working on: That irl project that I would love to gush about here but can't because it will hopefully be published. (@pathetic-life-form, I just googled sashiko and WOW that looks hard but rewarding! you have my respect for teaching yourself that artform!)

(Also yay, my family and I watch the Poirot and Miss Marple TV shows too! 😊 I love Philip Jackson's Japp and David Suchet's Poirot especially.)

Color: Normally I say purple, but I'm growing quite fond of pastel pink lately too! 🩷

Currently Watching: The last thing I actually watched was a Dick Van Dyke episode with my mom, since she really loves that show. The next thing I personally want to watch is a Ghibli movie, probably Kiki's Delivery Service or Ponyo.

Currently Reading: …I kind of hate to admit this, but due to already having so much stuff on my plate (see the next two answers), I'm not in the middle of an actual "reading book" right now. The last thing I read was proofreading my own fanfics, I guess! I do have a Christian fantasy book that I bought a while back, Dragonspell by Donita K. Paul, that I would like to finally sit down and read… maybe I'll start it next.

Current Obsession: Well, fandom-wise, like Arkie, I'm still riding the Star Wars train (I'm in the Clone Caboose 😉). Practically, my mother and I have started going to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and they have these protein shakes made of peanut butter and banana that are actually really really good??! Sometimes I've even asked for her to pick me up one on other weekdays, lol! And finally, there are some video games I've had downloaded on my Switch for over a year now, but haven't worked up the gumption to sit down and play, because I know they will BECOME obsessions when I do, until I finish them (some are several gameplay-hours long). Specifically, Abzu, Island Saver, Final Fantasy VI, and Dragon Quest III. I can't decide which to commit to first (especially with my job demanding my time, and drawings and fics also vying for it)!… 😭

Currently Working On: I finally finished that journal project I kept talking about this month (I thought I'd be done in January, but turns out it took February and half of March too!), so in a way, I'm just turning into a puddle of relaxed goo, now that it's over! But, once I get my energy back, I do have some sketches made of Torrent Company, in their new roles as Jedi Temple Guards in my AU, to finish up with proper outlines and colors. They're babysitting the Younglings, so it'll hopefully be cute to share when I'm finished! 😊

Last Google search: "Tula," when naming an OC (one of said Younglings, in fact). I've long learned to type any "I'm-just-throwing-together-random-syllables-that-sound-nice" name I come up with into Google, before actually writing a fic with it, lest it turns out to be a bizarre slang term for something obscene (yes, this has happened to me before). "Tula" thankfully just brought up a city in Russia, so hopefully I'm good. 😅

Last Book: Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy - well written, I really enjoyed the scenario, and apart from it showing it's age in some places (supermaneuvrable MiG-25s and double seater-supersonic-afterburning-air to air F-117s) it's really good

Last Song: To Catch a Stille by Evan Call - lately I've been listening to Frieren soundtrack while doing projects, it's just beautiful

Last Movie: wow it's been so long since I saw one. Probably Kpop Demon Hunters

Last Series: Lycoris Recoil - it has action, slice of life and yuri, and does all of these perfectly. Also one of the best ED songs I've heard

Last book: Exit Strategy by Martha Wells. Now that I'm not completely overwhelmed by final exams I'm gonna have to start on Network Effect next.

Last movie: Muppet Christmas Carol. Truly the best film adaptation of anything, ever.

Last series: the Big Hero 6 2D animated series. Apparently they added a 3rd season since the last time I watched it, and while I haven't watched the full season yet, the episodes I have seen have been pretty good.

Salty or sweet: salty. Like my soul.

Coffee or tea: tea. I don't hate coffee, really, but the amount of creamer and/or sweeteners I need to actually enjoy it is pretty high. Meanwhile, I'm perfectly happy with just plain tea - though I will admit that I'm rather partial to a good old Southern-style sweet iced tea.

Working on: not a lot, really. Allegedly I'm working on my fanfic that I haven't touched in ages, but really I'm just focusing on trying to recover from the roller coaster that was last semester.

Last book: Reread Red Sails to Capri, by Ann Weil, with my roommate for fun. Highly recommend, though I nearly made myself hoarse and discovered I can’t switch easily between a French and a German accent.

Last song: “Gdy Śliczna Panna” sung by Anna Maria Jopek. It’s from a random cd from Poland twenty years ago that has become a staple in my family’s Christmas music rotation.

Last movie: It’s a Wonderful Life.

Last series: Agents of Shield! I’m not normally a big tv watcher. It’s really just SW Rebels and this series now that I’ve watched on my own, so it’s kind of interesting turning on the tv and realizing I can sob as much as I want, and I’m not being judged by siblings for doing so. Lots of crying has ensued, and I have a feeling it will just get worse as I keep watching.

Salty or sweet: Sweet. always. I thought that college cafeteria with an ice cream machine might make me tired of it, but nope. Hopefully I survive to old age without diabetes and with all my teeth.

Coffee or tea: Tea. I’ve always disliked coffee.

Working on: Dyeing eggs for Christmas ornaments. I started them as presents for my friends, but that excuse faded as I surpassed the amount of friends I have within gifting distance.

Last movie: I watched the end of Back to the Future with my kid sister this afternoon.

Last series: I watched a bit of a sitcom called Fresh Off the Boat with a friend last week, but honestly, I barely watch television at all these days. I'm hoping to rewatch a bit of Star Wars: Rebels over Christmas break.

Salty or Sweet: I have an incurable sweet tooth. I'm growing increasingly fond of sour foods, though.

Coffee or tea: both, though caffeine doesn't mesh well with my meds. I get extra jittery and lose my appetite.

Working on: a collection of art projects which I hope to give as Christmas gifts.

Last book: The Fellowship of the Ring. (And by "reading", I mean I have had a bookmark halfway through Chapter 3 for about two weeks. I really want to make more reading time in the new year.) Also picked through the Star Wars Visual Dictionary, which I got as a Christmas gift!

Last song: "No Longer You" from Epic the Musical.

Last movie: The Muppet Christmas Carol with my siblings! (Family Christmas tradition.) Also parts of The Peanuts Movie with my nephew and niece.

Last series: Either Avatar: The Last Airbender or Star Wars: Rebels--I genuinely can't remember which one I watched last, but a dear friend and I watched some episodes during a recent visit!

Salty or Sweet: Sweet! I will usually take something sweet over something salty.

Coffee or tea: How can you make me choose!?!?!? I LOVE coffee, but I cannot live without my jasmine green tea. I also fell in love with a chamomile and lemongrass blend recently.

Last book: Well, very technically, the last book I opened was a mushroom-themed coloring book my mom got me this Christmas!

Last song: "I Won't Run Away" by Ashes Remain.

Last movie: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the original 1966 cartoon one).

Last series: Same answer for me! 😉

Salty or sweet: Salty! Not that I don't like sweet too, but if I was forced to choose only one, well, I couldn't live without savory things.

Coffee or tea: TEA. Easily. I have hated coffee all of the about four times I have tried it in my thirty-seven years of existence on this green Earth! And even as tea goes, it's the herbal or fruit-based types I like, not regular black tea. (It's apparently not a caffeine thing--I do fine with sodas and chocolate--I just really don't like the flavor of black tea and any kind of coffee, for some reason.)

Working on: My Animal Crossing island! Also a journal project I really wanted to have done by January… and a drawing I really want to be able to post for the new year… and then I'll also need to reorganize my bookshelf…. *sympathizes*

Salty or sweet: I'm a sugar creature by nature, have to go sweet. Would I die from it? Probably.

Coffee or Tea: Coooooooffeeeee~ I don't hate tea by any means, I will drink it but between the two, the choice is obvious. Also, you mentioned disliking both black tea and coffee- another friend mentioned that and says it's the tannins that they contain? Unsure of that myself but I can see that; black tea and coffee definitely leave similar aftertastes.

Working on: Oh boy, several things- I guess specifically today is editing episodes of Professor Layton and knitting to keep my hands occupied and my brain focused.

Egg: Fried. Always fried. (I've eaten an ungodly amount of eggs over the last few years bc our chickens are overachievers, so I almost can't stomach them anyway except fried now.😂)

Steak: grilled, medium rare.

Milk: Whole milk ❤️

Alcohol: None. Never tasted it, except that one time at communion when I didn't know it wasn't juice and literally thought the Lord was giving me the Ananias-and-Saphhira, and hope to never do so again. (Alcohol has actually ruined a lot of lives around me, so thankfully my parents broke that generational curse by abstaining totally from it. I'll likely follow in their footsteps on that.)

Warm drink: Coffee with a little bit of French vanilla creamer or caramel.

Milk: Cows milk. You don't know what heaven is until you've had Australian cows milk.

Alcohol: I rarely drink as it's not something that overly interests me. I'll have an apple cider or a whisky & coke.

Warm Drink: A good old English Breakfast or Australian Afternoon tea for me please (I say this as I drink a latte)

And @aknightreaderr, ooh, now you've made me curious about Australian cows' milk! Now I have three things I must do if I ever get to visit there--(1) hug a koala, (2) meet you, and (3) chug milk!

Egg: Over easy! Where the yolk is still nice and runny and you can cut up the white bits and dip them into it. 😋

Steak: Well-done. And with a nice sauce to cut it up and dip it in! (A1, Heinz 57, etc.)

Alcohol: I'm kind of like Arkie, I don't judge anyone else for drinking, but I worry I have too many risk factors to try myself (I've heard people with chronic pain conditions, as well as the INFJ MBTI type, are both prone to addiction). I did down my whisky sample shotglass in one gulp when we were touring a distillery on Skye, though, when my mother and I took a trip to Scotland. I went "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccck!!" because I could barely breathe, and everyone laughed. 😆

Warm Drink: Hot chocolate! With marshmallows! Sometimes I also like ginger-peach tea and cinnamon-cardamom tea. 🍵

Egg: Over easy or as an omelette, just hand me eggs and I will probably eat them though lol Steak: Anything that's not chewy (my poor teeth) nor bleeding everywhere (eh, just don't like that) I don't have it much; Steak on a stake from the renaissance fair is all I can think of when I try to think of "good".

Milk: Any.

Alcohol: A lot of stuff either gives me headaches or back aches so I'm not actively buying things- that said, I do enjoy the occasional light beer or if someone hands me something I'll probably try it. Brandy was really good before covid messed up my taste buds lol eh, blessing in disguise probably.

Warm drink: Coffee. Black or fancy, I'll drink it.
