They're both reluctant to openly express themselves to each other. For Viktor, he goes "nudge nudge, poke poke" telling you exactly what he wants in a joking tone, pretending like his desires are not a big deal. A defense mechanism because then if he gets told "no" - it's not so bad, is it? It's not like he opened up to ask for it.

I imagine him as a teenager sweeping through competitions, building himself as one of the best, and learning that he needs to build a persona, a mask to hide behind when his life starts getting documented by cameras and interviews. And it includes smilingly forcing his way into everything he wants. You can't say no to him and he doesn't have to be straightforward because he'll act like what he wants is reality and the world around him will comply. And then with Yuuri it's a mess and they need to figure it out.

I love them both. Someone teach them to communicate. Queer disasters, both of them.

my mother taught me to crochet when i was young. she was left handed, so she taught me how in the bathroom mirror so her hands would be in the right position.

she learned to crochet from her grandmother, who was right handed. her grandma was the one that originally used the bathroom mirror to teach her granddaughter properly.

i find something poetic about that. here in this bathroom mirror, through generations, we adapt to our young who have a different way of learning and interacting with the world

I have had so many feelings about this, and, even though it’s been like a year since the manga and now the anime got to it, my feelings still aren’t clear. It’s always felt like endeavor had those two sides of the coin where he genuinely cared about touya and wanted to help him, just didn’t know how deeply he needed to help. And I find that behavior to be separate from how he treated his kids and wife.
