Regina Perkins doesn't regret what she did. She regrets that her name's in the article. She committed murder. She was trying to get him killed. She knew when she did it that when cops get sent after black kids, the kids tend to end up dead. She knew that, and she did this on purpose. She didn't like her daughter dating a black kid so she had him killed. This is no different than if she'd hired a hitman, except cops will do it for free.
