Thanksgiving 2013 Rocks!

Right now, I'm typing out this post on the new laptop my boyfriend just got from Best Buy, and I've been having so much fun today this Thanksgiving! And it was in the most unusual way possible: I went camping, which I've NEVER done before on a holiday, so yeah it was pretty sweet :D

So my BF and his family went on a camping trip (that's still going on until this Sunday) to a state park and ever since then it was AMAZING!

And the Thanksgiving dinner was freaking awesome: candied yams, green beans, homemade bread, and my favorite: the deep-fried turkey! Oh hell yes, my very first deep-fried turkey!

I'VE FINALLY MOVED IN!!!!!

I WAS going to post this this morning, after my things were secure in my BF's house, but things kinda got in the way  (YouTube, taking a nap, eating frosting, etc.)

So, yeah, it's official: I've finally moved out, and I'm living with my BF! I'm sooo excited, but nervous at the same time. It's prolly just the "moving out" jitters, but I'll more than likely get over it quickly, as i've basically camped out at his house for almost a week without letting anyone know.... *hehe...* But yeah, I'm REALLY stoked about it.

Now the only question is this: "What's for dinner?"

Just came from the movies with my BF and some of his friends to see "Thor: The Dark World," and it was AMAZING!!!!! I've been thinking of doing some superhero cosplay with my BF and his friends (one of them would be Thor, the other would be the Dark Elf, BF would be that really strong guy, and I'd be the Gatekeeper of Asgard)... and now I can't sleep, so for about another hour, I'm gonna watch Rosario x Vampire, and THEN hit the pillows.

What Time is it??? Pancake Time!

Just got finished with my computer class, and I'm absolutely regretting not eating breakfast this morning, as usual. So, I'm about to run and catch the bus to my boyfriend's house, so I can make myself a HUGE stack of pancakes!!! I can almost feel the liquid-y goodness of syrup coursing through my veins!!!! *gleeee!!!*

I Love Fall!

At the moment, I'm sitting outside on the porch, listening to the sounds of rain hitting the concrete. For me, being a Florida native, I enjoy the summer being over and winter soon approaching... Which means I can FINALLY break out my boots and wear some flannel shirts and drink hot cocoa (with marshmallows!) with my boyfriend, and all the good stuff.

Applying for Spring Semester Classes

I just came home for my boyfriend's house, and withing about 30 minutes, I've applied for 2 more classes for college. One's for Life Sciences (which makes sense, because I'm a pre-med major); the other is a re-take for Intro to Psychology (which I'm nervous about, because I failed it the first time), and right now, I'm trying to get my "mentor" -- because I don't know what else to call him -- to help me out with financial aid and stuff like that... But he's doing who knows what, so now I'm just crossing fingers, hoping that he can help me out.

 I mean, I don't have a job, and I'm hopelessly trying to find a job that will help out at leastsomewhat, because, right now, my boyfriend's doing all the financial stuff, and it's not fair to him. Even worse is knowing that my friends are getting jobs, and I'm still at the same place I was a year ago: dependent, needy, and just trying to get by.

The LEAST I could do was try to do well in school, right? And I ended up screwing that up to where I have to bring up my GPA for college, especially since I'm going to a medical school one day, but it just feels like it's going to take my entire life to graduate from college, and do things that I really wanna do, like play piano or sing. :(

Please, if anyone is reading this, leave a word or quote of encouragement in the comments. Because that would really help.

Boyfriend's Out for the Day... :(

I made it just in time to my boyfriend’s house, because he’s going on a fishing trip with his dad for his dad’s birthday. In the meantime, I’m watching movies, doing some light chores, and TRY to find the time to turn in some essay questions for my sociology class, which is due at MIDNIGHT today (yay. just frickin terrific.) and this is going to be done in a few hours’ time.

But back to my BF being gone for the day: I miss him, and I feel like lately I’ve been overly annoyed at some little things, and I’m afraid that it’s going to weight him down. I don’t know why, but out of the blue, I just started getting irritated with the littlest of things, like taking out the garbage or having to ride my bike 3 miles to get to his house, which takes FOREVER, but when I leave, it take like 20 minutes. It’s things like that that seems to irritate me the most, and i don’t know why. :-\

Chore Day

Got on the phone with my BF about some stuff I was going to do while he was at work: I did some mopping and sweeping, picked up some stuff from last night's Halloween, got about 1/16 of my homework done, and now I'm waiting for my spicy shrimp ramen to finish cooking :p (it's soooo yummy!)

... Oh, and I also managed to paint my nails. They're a little gloopy (because I tried that steam trick on Michelle Phan's channel on YouTube to make my nails look matte. 'm too impatient, lol!)But still... it's got GLITTER!!!!

Can't believe it's Friday; let's party! Not Quite!

Got home about 10 minutes ago from college, and thinking about how I'm going to pull this final paper off for sociology What we have to do is watch a movie, and come up with a sociological perspective to do a 4-page essay on. THe 4 sociological perspectives we have to base our report on are the functionalist, conflict, interactionalist, and feminist perspectives. And since it's a movie of our choice, I'm going to do a report on the interactionalist perspective on Alice in Wonderland, because it's SO VERY in depth. I'll get an A... if only I had someone to help me organize what I want to say.

In the meantime, I'm going to take a break from schoolwork for about an hour (and watch some show on YouTube or Hulu), Tumble on, and THEN get something productive done :)
