Writing Commisions open once again!

Hello y'all! It's been a while hasn't it? I do need to get better about updating this blog when I actually write things, and wouldn't you know I have done! I even managed to finally finish Chapter 5 of Surprise, Surprise!

What may not surprise you though is that I still remain in financial difficulty. Living alone and working in another city is difficult, and I'm trying to find something that either pays more or is closer to home (preferably both). In the mean time, my writing commissions are once again open!

It'll be the usual prices, which I'll list again below. And as always, if i do end up going over the paid amount I will not charge you extra (I won't complain if you want to give more though :3)

1,000 words: £20

Continuations: Is there a one shot i did you want to see a new chapter/follow up on? I’m open to talk about them.

Posting:

The commissioner will get first read of the final product after it goes through edits and beta reading, and can request any changes. Afterwards I’d like to post them up on AO3, followed by Tumblr a week later. (actual posting to Tumblr may vary)

Meet Vira Butio, one of the Night Class teachers and also chief engineer for the organization that lurks inside the Board of Directors. Science is her specialty in both regards, as is a penchant to make things explode that have absolutely no business exploding in the first place! Like her lunch. These characters live rent-free in my head, so I thought I'd spend the days leading up to launch day introducing you to a few. (It's the least they can do, lousy free-loaders.) Meet Elias Salinger, one of the Night Class teachers at Oleander Academy. He's a Pisces, his favorite color is green, and when he isn't working to assist in the Night Classes, he is often found helping the daytime students in the art room. This does leave him with quite a lot of paint stains and various other art media smudges, but when it comes to cheerfulness, these only add to his shining character. Bright even in the nighttime, Elias is ever eager to assist, even when Lenore's pride doesn't allow it. He's definitely the golden retriever energy beside her black cat independence! There is a lot more than meets the eye with Elias, and he has a tendency to see more than he lets on. He never dipped into the public coffers for his building projects, but he spent his own fortune extravagantly and borrowed heavily from everyone he could think of. By 1885, the year before his death, he was 14 million marks in debt.

I always find this inspiring because try to name another prince of a German state. What did the rulers of Hamberg do? The Grand Duchy of Hesse? Gone with the wind, no one knows them anymore. But Mad Lad Ludwig built a top 5 most famous castle in the entire world. Money is fake, castles are real. Go broke and die like a winner.

On Saturday I said to my partner, as I have said for months, "A ten thousand dollar a year raise would solve so many of my problems."

As of this morning I was reluctantly looking for jobs because I love my job and don't want to leave it, but see: $10k raise problem solver.

As of noon today this was no longer an issue, because my boss called me with the news that I was getting a $10K merit raise.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. This is roughly $200 extra per paycheck. Enough to pay off debt faster, rebuild my savings, and spend a weekend a month in Milwaukee getting obscenely laid. The sex I'm going to have on $200 extra per paycheck. You can't even.

May all of you get the $10K raise your soul has yearned for. And whatever level of sex you can be satisfied with for $200.
