I think this might be the most beautiful meme I've ever seen. I just spent five minutes extolling all its virtues to my husband:

It's not even the famous part of that segment that everyone knows by heart

The "I'm just sayin'" attitude of all the Seinfeldians in the screenshot (although if memory serves, what they're actually saying is, "not that there's anything wrong with that")

not to brag, but I got the immersive iron lung experience (left the theater to realize that I’d started my period during the movie)

#and imagine my surprise when I logged on to letterboxd to find that at least two other people had this experience too #there really aren’t any original experiences (and I think that’s beautiful)#anyway that was a very enjoyable movie and I really vibed with it #I do personally think it could’ve used a bit more worldbuilding #but overall it was a great indie horror movie and markiplier absolutely killed it #shout out to my friend for concernedly whispering “oh mark” every time simon got thrown across the sub #iron lung #markiplier

there’s a lot of things to like about stranger things season 3, but I think my favorite is how each group of characters independently thinks their thing is the craziest until they reunite.

and the best part? under most circumstances, they’d all be right. supernatural rabies that causes people to guzzle chemicals? russians chasing and torturing teenagers beneath a midwestern mall? said russians running a secret operation to open an interdimensional rift? all objectively wild things. but they pale in comparison to an ultra-powerful alien embodied in a fleshy monster created from the remains of exploded humans and rats.

#stranger things #even though I’ve seen this show numerous times the finale did make me wanna rewatch #forgot how incredibly gross this season is #still a very fun time (and a jarring tone/genre shift)
