Happy Birthday Cinnamoroll! 🍰💙
you tell people misogyny is bad & they go okay let me do homophobia & you go, no, that too is bad, & they go right right, here's some transmisogyny then, & you say no, see, you are doing misogyny again, actually & they go, but what if I do orientalism with the transmisogyny so then it doesn't count & you go, no, see it still counts but now it's also pointedly racist and colonial & they go well maybe nothing is real so it doesn't count & then you kill them
And so "he" will pick Rosalina in Mario Kart Wii which could mean nothing
HEY UM. This is Transmisogynistic.
you can discuss the ways trans men are shit on and ignored without repeating verbatim terf talking points and regurgitating the absolute bullshit that is ‘amab privilege’ i get it okay. i’ve fallen down this rabbithole of thinking before but trans women are not your fucking enemy they are your sisters. love and cherish them. okay? okay. there’s so much here i can’t unpack it all but all this? everything they’re saying? deeply, deeply transmisogynistic.
One thing from genderqueerdykes recent transmisogynistic screed thats stuck in my mind is the insistence that trans women exhibit toxic masculinity by interrupting people, cause like. The main way that men talking over women manifests isn't men interrupting women (they do that a lot too, but its a lesser contributor). What happens when a man wants signifies he has something to say? Everyone shuts up and listens. What happens when a woman does it? Everyone carries on as if nothing happened.
So what are you to do if you aren't content with simply not speaking, and waiting until social decorum decides it is your turn doesn't work, because your turn is never? You make it impossible to ignore you, social decorum be damned. You interrupt people, you are aggressive and confrontational about getting a word in because its the only way you'll get one in at all.
Feminists got framed as aggressive bitches so often because they correctly determined that your options as a woman are to either not be heard, or to be heard and called an aggressive bitch for it, and they chose the latter. How insidious is it to reframe that feminist practice of demanding your voice be heard irrespective of social decorum as a signifier that trans women exhibit toxic masculinity, are man-like, to weaponize both dysphoria and the language of feminism to shut down transfeminists.
it’s pretty hilarious when people say “lmao you obviously don’t know anything about Alison Bechdel if you think she’s a terf” because if anything the exact opposite is true: if you know anything about Alison Bechdel outside of a few comics uploaded to tumblr it is shockingly obvious that she’s a terf. She can’t get through a full sentence without shilling one or the major terf playbooks (Fun Home opens with her self-insert proudly reading Gyn/Ecology for fucks sake), all of her real life feminist heroes are… you guessed it! they’re almost all terfs! Where did she spend her time every year? Why, at the infamously transphobic Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival, of course! She only stopped going when they completely cancelled the event (because of how many trans people were protesting it) and still went after trans people she knew asked her not to
“but what about that one comic where she re-examines her bias about bathrooms?” i don’t know how to tell you this, but people can still be transphobes if they think trans people should get the dignity of having somewhere to pee; not every racist (or even every white supremacist) is arguing about how we should bring back racially segregated bathrooms and indeed many modern racists are patting themselves on the back for finding no problem with that. Besides, the punchline of the comic is that trans women are less likely to be stopped in bathrooms than cis lesbians because we conform to gender stereotypes more than them (in her mind) — it’s just one in a long line of comments in Dykes To Watch Out For about how trans people are, at best, “conformist homosexuals”
if you look in the comments section of Dykes To Watch Out For on her website, youll find that it’s absolutely teaming with terfs, many of whom Bechdel was close friends with and mentioned in her blog posts.
the crazy thing about this is how many people are unwilling to hear a single, basic & incredibly apparent criticism against a white cis woman because she represents a “RETVRN” to “the good days of feminism”. anybody throwing a tantrum about trans women pointing out these incredibly obvious politics held by cisgender idols should similarly be considered a terf: if people were genuinely concerned they’d ask for more information rather than immediately shutting down any mention that this could be true.
me when im not a terf and i signal this by using terf bibles to represent my journey to lesbianism
i just don't understand what is so hard for people to wrap their heads around here. even people who got with the program irt JKR are wringing their hands over this, and i find the solution very obvious: if you have previously respected Alison Bechdel as an author or an artist, you respect her as a terf. terf politics are part & parcel with her art-- the curtains aren't just blue here, folks. In this example: She could have literally chosen any other feminist literature to depict her journey with queerness. There are a plethora of cisgender, lesbian authors who write theory and literature who are not terfs. When an artist makes literary reference in this way, they do so for a reason. It can be used as a tool for characterization, an allegorical reference, or even a signal to the audience. Something that might say "Hey, I read those other books too. We're cool." Even here, she calls the experience a "novel fusion between word and deed"-- she herself making it inseparable from the action of lesbianism in her eyes.
As yall can see, the audience is meant to consider the idea of "feminism as the theory, and lesbianism as the practice". When those feminists in question are terfs, what do we think the authors trying to imply here? To Alison Bechdel, the world needs writers like Adrienne Rich & Mary Daly. To Alison Bechdel, terf politics are inherent to lesbianism. If you respect Alison Bechdel as an artist, you respect her as a terf.
[ID: tweet by jenny_tightpants reading, "tragic that men who never take estrogen will never find out their genetically encoded cup size"]
This tweet reminds me of the Preciado quote, "Testosterone existing externally is inserted into a molecular field of possibilities that already exist inside my body."
the potential for a variety of sexed traits already exist within you & you should get to decide which to nurture and which to suppress.
so do you guys actually care about intersex people or have you just found a convenient thought terminating cliche for whenever youre confronted with your privilege over transfems? who am i kidding i know the answer.
like you know that there are intersex trans women in the transfeminist community right? do you listen to their voices? do you care how many of them have been harassed off this website? or do you just follow a bunch of cryptoterfs who've said "transfeminism is intersexist actually" and thought "thank GOD now i don't have to care about those annoying trannies any more"
if you're "t4t" until a girl needs to be held while crying, or a place to sleep to escape abuse and not just to fuck or otherwise entertain you, you're not t4t, you're just a chaser
im sorry this is just beyond parody at this point and idk what to say. wtf are you talking about
you know what's weird but doesn't surprise me at all, obviously? i purged and remade my old main blog and when i made my new main blog for this sideblog i encountered this when it forced me to follow tags to proceed to my new account
but the transmisogyny tag clearly exists bc i'm looking at it on a desktop browser rn
and in case you're wondering, yes the "transmisandry" tag showed up :) but not transmisogyny :)
apparently op thinks calling out unnecessary fearmongering is "clowning" because they have locked the post immediately after someone made an addition addressing the fearmongering in the post.

394 days.
9,456 hours. 567,360 minutes.
34,041,600 seconds. More than thirty-four million seconds.
This is how long every single Palestinian in Ghazzah has been suffering through an accelerated genocide; through conditions that only get worse and worse every day. More than a year of death, of sickness, of starvation, of destruction — more than a year in which Ghazzah has not had a single second out of thirty-four million of peace.
Do you feel the same fear and rage I do, at the thought of that; do you tremble to read this as I trembled in writing it? Can you imagine how much more scared the people in Ghazzah feel right now?
My dear friend Basma @basmaalghoul has remained so impossibly strong despite this fear — every time I message her asking how she and her family are doing, she tells me that they are doing fine: despite everything, she has the resilience to tell me they are doing fine.
But today she’s told me they’re no longer doing fine: she tells me that the bombing is increasing, that there are no vegetables available in the market currently.
And what the hell am I supposed to tell her in response? Am I supposed to tell her to stay safe, even though there are no safe places in Ghazzah? Am I supposed to tell her that I hope it doesn’t take another fucking month to reach the next short-term goal, when her fundraiser is the only lifeline for six people; three of whom are children?
She's been verified by nabulsi, and is currently at kr50,381 SEK out of a short-term goal of kr55,000 SEK.
Do not look away. Do not abandon Basma and her family.

When a cis girl tells you you're the luckiest girl for not having periods you should ask her if she wishes she was trans. The response is always incredibly funny
while medical transition may not a requirement for simply being trans, it is still absolutely essential for all trans people to be able to freely and easily access gender affirming care. it must always be an option for any trans person.
literally no one is saying that trans people who genuinely do not want to medically transition (or cannot medically transition for any reason) are not ‘real’ trans people because they aren’t medically transitioning. what people are saying, however, is that it is counterproductive to trans collective liberation to be telling other trans people, or normalizing cis people telling trans people, “you don’t have to medically transition to be trans” as a way of pacifying those of us whose focus and goal is to broaden access to gender affirming medical care and, ultimately, bodily autonomy.
it is not an “overreaction” for trans people to call it “fascist” when a sentiment like “you don’t need to medically transition to be trans” spreads, particularly within trans communities where some (often transmisogyny-exempt) trans people, in reaction to their fellow trans community members expressing their need to medically transition, whether that's needing to raise money or move across borders to access gender affirming care, pursue diy hormone replacement therapy, or the ordeal of being gatekept by cis psychiatrists and medical professionals who are actively impeding trans peoples' ability to medically transition how and when they want to. denial of bodily autonomy is fascist.
you may very well have 'good intentions' in thinking that what you are saying to another trans person, when you say "you don't need to medically transition to be trans", is helpful or otherwise benign but the trans person you are saying this to almost certainly already knows this. they don't need you telling them to, basically, cope. giving credence to the idea that trans people need to 'wait until we're certain' about wanting to medically transition, whatever form that takes, is dangerous.
like most other general medical care, gender affirming healthcare and reproductive autonomy are similarly linked in this regard. you wouldn't tell someone seeking an abortion that they need to wait until they're sure they don't want to be pregnant, would you? no. you would not, not unless you're a fascist. you know who literally does this? the fucking fascist natalists who work at those 'crisis pregnancy centers' and whose job it is to shame and bully people who need abortions out of getting abortions and the spineless so-called medical professionals working in healthcare who prioritize their anti-choice religious convictions or fascist beliefs over their duties as a doctor and gatekeep necessary medical care from their pregnant patients seeking abortions, not to mention the many powerful anti-choice fascist lawmakers and politicians.
i am begging you all to please get serious about this. use your heads. it is not your place, even as a trans person, to tell other trans people unsolicited advice about what to do with our bodies. if you are getting along just fine as a trans person who isn't medically transitioning, i'm happy for you. but you need to remember that this is about bodily autonomy and it always has been. no one is taking away your right to not medically transition.
increased military spending among maids is becoming a serious issue. nobody needs a plate carrier to sweep or cook
standard provision of NIJ Level III plates and ballistic helmet have been shown to reduce out-of-combat fatalities among maids by up to 50%, sweep sweep. a maid must be focused on its survivability, lest it become dust
