I feel like the people currently complaining about The Boys finale are really just showing how little they understood or even liked the show to begin with. I honestly think it was very good: it felt a little rushed, the Gen V cast did feel sidelined, and I would have loved to see more of the world’s immediate reaction to Homelander’s death, but in every other way it felt as good as the Breaking Bad finale, which I’m sure some people complained about at the time but has since certainly proven to endure.

Overall, don’t be swayed by whining from haters (which is artificially boosted by most algorithms to begin with). It was a beautiful ending that tied up the main character’s arcs perfectly, full of the elaborate gore and vulgar humor the show does best, not to mention the skillfully executed to the political/allegorical themes of the show. It truly is a show that’s hard to get, but don’t let those that can’t crack it ruin our fun, as boy is there fun to be had.

bound 1996 is honest to god one of the best movies ever made. a neo noir heist film starring a white tank top wearing cigarette smoking butch gina gershon and her absolutely badass lover jennifer tilly where the plot is that they need to scam jennifer tilly's mafia-involved husband out of a huge sum of money so that the two of them can run away together and do nothing but have sex with each other for weeks on end? cinematic masterpiece. there is no need to make another movie ever again.
