Draw him alive and well. Ok now draw him playing sudoku
Now draw him struggling at sudoku in a manner that is no longer endearing and is now embarassing

Haha get loved unconditionally idiot. Get absolutely fuckin cherished. Lol you're about to be hugged so hard. I appreciate you deeply as a person, what you gonna do about it? Nothing lmao
Iâve become obsessed with Joelâs new album. Or, Iâve become obsessed with the reason behind it. This is two hours of vitriol towards his gearhead landlord, whose truck leaked exhaust fumes into his tenantâs building because he couldnât stop revving it outside to show it off. So Joel just writes a rock opera about an absolutely demented gear head out of spite.
The idea that someone could focus their petty rage into an art project is beautiful. Itâs why I made the villains in my webcomic family YouTubers. And itâs why generative ai just canât compete with human artist in the end. The whole purpose of art is to convey a feeling the artist has to whoeverâs consuming it. Generative ai canât âwrite a shitpost rock opera about a man named Carlito Benz who gets possessed by his ancestor, Carl Benz and his council of car wizards, to fuck every car he sees, driving his wife to divorce him, and become so powerful he defeats death itselfâ with any of the impact Joel did, because generative ai does not have a landlord, cannot get pissed off at its landlord, have no feelings in general and therefore cannot convey its emotion to the audience in any meaningful way. You have to have a point and generative ai doesnât have one.
Vinesauce Joel is one of the very few Letâs Play streamers I fw because he legitimately plays games for fun and wants to entertain, he never takes ad sponsorships and the only time he asks for money is during a Vinesauce charity event. So the message behind the album hits a specific way because he made it, because of COURSE I can feel his rage twds people like Jay Leno who show off their massive car collection like itâs an impressive hobby and not a multi-millionaire dick measuring contest. Would it have hit if it was written and performed by Suno? Does Suno have a reason to sing about previously consummated cars rising from hell to beat the shit out of the grim reaper? OF COURSE NOT. And I KNOW!! This album is a shitpost. But itâs a high quality shitpost Joel put a lot of effort and time into because heâs a human artist who wanted to vent about his awful landlord because the alternative was complaining and possibly getting evicted for it. So we have this, because someone got mad. And itâs awesome.
Thank you, Joel, for spending over a month to lock in actually create something so stupid and entertaining because you were so fucking mad at your landlord. This is almost two hours of work and it is legitimately inspiring. I love artists, I love creativity, Never underestimate the power of spite real humans have o7
Enjoy!
i'm kinda crap at making miis or copying patterns but this akane turned out okay?
thereâs this term i coined in my friendgroup i call âthe charizard effectâ and it can apply to anything and everything, but it was born from me explaining my feelings about the pokemon charizard. the term is basically about how overexposure to something be it by corporate shilling or fandom prominence drives me away from really enjoying something bc iâm exposed to it so much against my will i become tired of it. it came to me bc i was ranting about how tpci does not, and cannot stop reinventing charizard, and how it is popular and obtusely included in almost every region, merch, etc in every way possible and itâs highly commodified.
i dont dislike the pokemon charizard, in fact i really like its X form, but i am exposed to so much charizard in my pokemon consumption that i cant be bothered to care for it in any more than in passing. this applies to a bunch of other stuff iâd otherwise be ok with, but i always just call this aversion phenomena âthe charizard effectâ
making this term has done numbers for me being able to concisely express how i feel abt something. like. its not charizardâs fault i feel this way, im sure iâd feel normal abt it if it was stripped of all this over commodification, but i cannot. hence the name
absolutely obsessed with the way Joel pronounces gazebo lmao
Sick sick sick of possibility of being fucking recorded every waking second by tiktok obsessed quasi celebs. Video titled something like "Caught him thinking he's the main character" but it was just a kid wearing headphones, looking out the bus window. Of course it was posted without his knowledge. Stop recording strangers and everything you see, nobody gives a shit and not everyone is happy to be on tiktok or youtube because of a moron with no braincells and an account. What could be a forgettable awkward moment is now permanently there for the victim of lackabrainis infested idiot to get anxious about forever.
Okay, this seems like a relevant thing to share today: I've been in this position. Back in college while on that student lifestyle, I somehow ended up with a pretty bad iron deficiency. How bad? I was not only sleeping too much, I was falling asleep everywhere -- in class, in the library, in cafes five minutes after drinking coffee. It was terrible. Anyway, during a class I enjoyed, I was sat at a table with a few classmates, and I started falling asleep while taking notes; nodding off, dropping my pen, startling awake and falling asleep again, until my head was on the table. No one seemed to mind, we were all going through it I guess, and my lecturer was nice enough not to make a big deal out of it.
Cut to the next day and I was in the Students Union, when a friend came up to me and told me how funny that video was of me falling asleep in class was. What? I asked her about it, what did she mean, who made the video, and she realised I literally had no clue about it. Kindly, she told me who to talk to and I thanked her. I was already upset, but I knew it wasn't the messenger's fault. So, I took to Facebook and messaged the girl who made the video -- a girl on my table in the class from before. I asked her about it, and she admitted it right away -- she took the video on her phone during class and posted it to her snapchat. That's how the other girl saw it, not to mention countless others.
Sorting this out was an absolute toil. I felt betrayed and violated that someone would do that while I was obviously not in a position to have any say about it. I lost friendships with the people who took the girl's side, as if it was no big deal or "funny". I had to tell the lecturer about it, because let's face it, that's a shit thing to allow to happen during class itself, the department moved to be more alert and proactive about restricting phone use in class, and all that girl had to do was give a half-hearted apology. The next semester, she was still openly using her phone in another class we had.
For a long time, I couldn't trust anyone who held their phone up around me, as if to take photos or video. It would make me so anxious and put me on edge. I never did speak to the people who cosigned her behaviour, who acted like it wasn't their problem that their bff video-recorded a person in class over their health condition without their consent.
I did eventually grow out of my anxiety around phones, and I resisted the urge to break that girl's phone, but, I will absolutely bring back that energy if I see someone record a stranger in public without their consent. Take it from someone who's been that target -- if you think it's okay, you deserve to get your shit wrecked.
I just want to add, in case anyone reads this and isn't sure -- yes, it is absolutely fine to reblog this, and in fact I encourage you to. If testimony from a former target of this behaviour is the one thing that makes it click for anyone thinking of doing it, if it makes them reconsider before potentially ruining a stranger's life, then my experience will be worth it for me.
Don't record strangers and put that shit on the Internet or social media without their consent.
