This movie dives into the mind of a serial killer “Mr. Sophistication” . It is chilling and disturbing… with high levels of gore. While this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, I think Jack’s mind (Mr. Sophistication) is shown to be extremely fascinating. He is intelligent and he isn’t shown to be a one dimensional character. Shown as “incidents” , we see his murders take place over 12 years as he led by Virgil (Inferno) to the underworld. It is almost like a confessional. If you can stomach it, it is definitely worth a watch.

“Parasite” directed by Bong Joon-Ho is an excellent dark comedy riddled with suspense. It serves as a commentary on wealth and class which is constantly mirrored between the two main families. Every twist keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more and more. The created characters have such depth and every character plays their role spectacularly. The ending is beautiful and yet heartbreaking in a way that will make you think about it after the screen has gone dark. This thought provoking and unsettling film is also beautifully shot. On looks alone, I could rate this to be one of the best films I’ve seen! Hopefully if you haven’t seen this film, you will soon because you are missing out!

As they struggle with isolation, paranoia, and their dark pasts, the film blurs the line between reality and hallucination, leading to a tense and frankly disturbing struggle between the light keepers. Shot in black and white, this eerie movie has been one of my favorite watches in the last couple of years. Dealing with themes of madness and isolation, you’re sure to be on the edge of your seat for the entirety of this film. If you love psychological horror and you are yet to watch this, make sure to add it your watch list immediately!

I literally cannot even begin to explain how hard this movie hit me the first time I watched it. Genuinely one of my favorite films. Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie’s performance in this movie is astoundingggg! If you haven’t seen this movie, I cannot recommend it enough and if you have seen it, then you probably understand why I like this movie so much:,)
