Sometimes, I sit and think about my garden in Jannah, and then I realize I haven't planted any new trees in a minute. Don't forget to plant your trees: Subhanallah. Alhamdulilah. La ilaha ilallah. Allahu Akbar.

When we love, we don't look around, just as in prayer, our gaze stays lowered. Love demands sincerity, just like prayer.
It requires our full attention and devotion, with hearts that are fixed on the beloved, just as we remain mindful of Allah during our prayers.
Remain Unknown
Ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه said:
"Become known to the angels and anonymous to the humans."
[Mukhtasar Minhaj Al-Qasideen]
Al-Fudayl ibn 'Iyad رحمه الله said:
"If you can get by with being unknown, do so. What is it against you if you are not being praised? What is it against you that people blame you but to Allah you are praiseworthy?"
[Hilyat al-Awliya 8/88]
Sufyan Al-Thawri رحمه الله said:
"Safety lies in not wanting to be known."
[Al-Dhahabi, Siyar Alam Al-Nubala' 7:258.]
Sufyan Al-Thawri رحمه الله said:
"You should take to being unknown, for indeed this is the age to remain unknown. And take to remaining at a distance and secluded, and associating little with the people, because when the people used to meet, some of them would benefit the others. But as for today, then that has gone, and in our view, salvation lies in abandoning them."
[Hiylat al-Awliya 6/376]
Imam Tabari said:
"You were once in the womb, unmentioned and unknown. And again you will be forgotten, unknown and unmentioned."
[جامع البيان عن تأويل أي القرأن]
Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله said:
"How fortunate is the one whom Allah has made unknown!"
[Al-Jarh wa Ta'deel: 306]
It’s so easy to look at someone and judge them because they are different, less motivated, less religious, less accomplished or less smart.
If you feel superior by comparing yourself to the shortcomings of others, then your heart needs cleansing.
If you frown at a person who doesn’t do the rituals, then your shortcomings are more severe.
If you choose to do outward acts of piety to be seen, but you’re oozing with jealousy and hatred, then you’re only fooling yourself.
Stop being critical of others and focus on fixing yourself.
Realize that you have no control over others, but you can change yourself!

13 times in the Qu'ran, God says, "Afala ta'qilun?". Meaning: "Will you not use your intellect?"
SYMPTOMS OF A WEAK FAITH
Shaykh Al Albani رحمه الله:
“Tightness in the chest, mood swings and depression, which weigh a man down and make him quick to complain about the slightest thing, these all are symptoms of weak faith.
A person easily gets upset with the people around him, and no longer has any tolerance. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم described faith when he said, ‘Īmān is patience and tolerance’”

Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"From the signs of misery is that you forget your own faults and concentrate on the faults of the people."
[مفتاح دار السعادة ١/٢٩٧]
اللهم صلي وسلم على نبينا محمد
O Allaah, send prayers and blessings upon our prophet Muhammad.
إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ
If you work righteousness, you work righteousness for yourselves; and if you commit evil, you do so against yourselves.

Man refuses to accept a rotten fruit for his money, but he expects Allah to accept a rotten heart in exchange for Paradise. - Islamic Quote
You knock, He opens. You attend, He welcomes. You ask, He gives. You sin, He tests, You repent, He forgives. You sin again.
He forgives again. You cry; He listens. Everything you do, is about you; and everything He does, is about you.
تَوَكُّل شكر صَبْرٌ
There is nothing but the bitter silence that echoes through these walls
Only but the pounding of a broken heart calling for its Lord
Sabr صَبْرٌ without a word spoken
Tawakkul تَوَكُّل before life unfolds
Shukr شكر amidst the calamities
These are the jewels of a believing heart When one calls from distress Allah ﷻ surely responds
