Official ‘terfs get out of my house’ Post
Oh my gosh an ACTIVE NBC blog?! Wild! I gotta know what's Oogie and Jacks deal? Are they together!!!? Are they friends?!
It’s complicated. (ㆆ_ㆆ)(⚈₋₍⚈)
I guess the best way to classify their relationship is that they are one another’s vices? (⸝⸝> ᴗ•⸝⸝)
They are not an ‘item’ as Jack’s affections fall on a certain ragdoll. Which you can imagine makes the Boogeyman a twinge unhappy! (¬`‸´¬)

@spookikookiboo has me thinking about Madame Belladonna some more and talking with them about her makes it so much better
She wasn’t ALWAYS a Madame, but she worked her way up there
She was a very, VERY strong contender to lead Halloween Town, but Edgar was still chosen. The two had been unfriendly rivals and even enemies for a time until the Mayor begged them to leave each other alone. He rubbed it in her face that he was the Pumpkin King whenever he got the chance and she dreamed of caving his head in with her heel
The two go back a VERY long time, even to when they were still humans. He invited her to a masquerade party and gave her a shiny, pretty dress to wear. She wore a funeral gown and a morbid skull mask. Everyone had a grand time until an unexpected guest arrived :3
I have had so much fun discussing and doodling your character the marvelous Madam B! ( >v < )
I can’t wait to finish and post all the pages of drawings I’ve done with her! (. 3 .) in the mean time enjoy this masquerade ball illustration we’ve spoken of!

IT’S THEM!!!
I love the cover art for your TNBC AU! Can we see more? PS. Your drawing style is amazing!
Hello friend! (╥ ω ╥) Aww oh my gosh thank you! I didn’t think anyone would care for my NBC AU if I made one so this made my whole day! Of course you can have more doodles! (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ
I think this pretty much explains the whole AU!
( Not really 〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜 )

(( Madam Belladonna belongs to @tnbc-ramblings ))
OMG, THANK YOU FOR DRAWING MORE OF MADAME BELLADONNA!!! Love this so much! Fall and Jack have such a fun dynamic and so do Fall and Belladonna! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
Hope you’re doing well! Just wondering, and I hope you don’t mind my asking, in TNBC, what did Edgar think of Jack??
Hi friend! Oh I’m hanging in there!
(੭ ˊ^ˋ)੭ ♡
To answer your question-Edgar hated Jack but not at first! Jack was just another arrival into their ever growing town. Edgar was glad to have a new face around it meant under his leadership the town was flourishing!
However over time Father Fall took notice of Jack and once that happened the winds of change could be felt. That’s when hatred began to brew!
Edgar did not want to let go- he did not want someone else to take the throne and he certainly did not want his authority challenged. However when your a vessel for the season that literally embodies change it will come whether you like it or not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can be trusted with the fictional character. I Promise.
This comic looks so ass i nearly died LAUGHING seeing the artist trace some of the most recognizable stills from the movie like this
I FINALLY came up with a name for my Nightmare Before Christmas AU I’ve been doing on here! I’ll try and remember to tag things under seven seasons! Anyway enjoy this cover and all the LORE HINTS!

with the whole gambling theme Oogie Boogie has going on, do you think Love In A Bottle suits him? I could see him having an au animatic to it or smth if TNBC had a more active fandom
Oh goodness….do not tempt me friend! I have both the desire and the program to do a lil animatic with this x,D maybe I’ll add that to my never ending list of things to draw / animate! ( > v < )🖤

The way this fandom used to unfairly criticize Jack and Sally kind of bothers me
Though I'm a few weeks late, today's kitty is Jack Skellington from the Nightmare Before Christmas!
Do No Harm Jack may be my favorite character of anything ever actually
Ramble about him below cut that reads into him too much for a fandub but i can do whatever I want forever so I’m speaking my thoughts damnit
Miss all of you! I’ll be excited to come back and answer all the asks, release new comic pages and catch up with all of you soon!

I hate Tumblr; it deleted the rest of my message.
But anyway, to sum it up quickly: I started thinking about the theory of Jack's possible past while he was dead, and I'd like it to become a reality.
If we think about it, we haven't been told about any parent or guardian of Jack for years.
The little information we have is about how he became King and what his years were like before the movie.
Never about his origins.
And this is where the theory of Jack being dead comes in.
It would explain why he seems to be an orphan, how he arrived in Halloweentown, and why no one seems to touch on that topic in his universe.
But I want that past to be exclusive to Jack.
Don't get me wrong, I want it to be exclusive to Jack because I feel like his role as the protagonist would shine again.
In recent years, Jack, the protagonist, has been somewhat forgotten and sidelined, and the merchandise barely keeps him afloat.
Giving him this unique past would make him stand out again and remind him who the true protagonist was.
But here I'll tell you about Jack's potential traumas if this theory were to come true.
1- Feeling of Loss.
Upon learning about his past, Jack would feel a sense of loss sooner or later.
If Jack had friends, family, or acquaintances he got along with, the feeling of loss would be there, even if he had a family in Halloweentown.
The feeling would still linger, tormenting him.
2- Relationship with his killer.
We all agree that if the theory that Jack is dead comes true, it's because someone killed him.
Here, it doesn't matter how he died; what matters is who committed the act.
If it was someone close to him, like a family member, the feeling would be horrible: betrayal, pain, confusion, and fear.
But if it were a stranger, the immediate feeling would be hatred and resentment, the monster who stole his dreams and hopes.
How could it be worse? If he were still alive.
If Jack's killer were still alive, it would generate feelings of injustice, hatred, and resentment.
Mortal, immortal, party leader, human, new species, anything.
He would still be out there, living his life peacefully, happily, as if he hadn't stolen the life, dreams, and hopes of an innocent person who most likely wasn't even fifteen years old.
3-How would it develop
I'm thinking about a possible or impossible future where Tim Burton might eventually give in or allow the creator of "Long Live the Pumpkin Queen" and "Hour of the Pumpkin" to write a book about Jack.
I don't know if she said it explicitly, but I remember seeing somewhere that the reason she didn't do anything related to Jack was because she believed the character belonged to Tim Burton, and the one who had the right to do anything with him was his creator.
But after a conversation with my dad, I'm faced with the possibility that Tim Burton might leave Jack without any explanation about his past, forgotten, leaving only theories.
But if they were to write a book in the style of "Long Live the Pumpkin Queen," I would like it to also focus solely on Jack.
In the books "Long Live the Pumpkin Queen" and "Hour of the Pumpkin Queen," they managed to make the entire book focus on Sally and other new characters, barely making appearances or mentioning Jack at the beginning and end.
I'd like to see the same thing happen with Jack—a book entirely and exclusively about him. I mean, Sally has two whole books focused on her, her past, and insecurities, so why couldn't Jack have one too?
This would also give us the opportunity to explore the human world more, or perhaps a holiday related to death, something like the underworld or limbo.
Even if we put it that way, the main villain could be Jack's killer, who, upon learning that his victim is still alive, would seek to finish the job once and for all.
And Jack would have to escape him, without anyone's help, moving from place to place trying to hide, desperate to buy time and devise some strategy to get rid of him and somehow return to the safety of Halloweentown with his wife, all while a serial killer knocks on his door with increasing force, slowly discovering who he once was and constantly questioning: What could have become of him? Was his life better alive? What would he give to return home? Or rather,
Would he want to go back in time to prevent his death and live a normal life? And if the answer was yes, what would he give for that, and what would he lose in the process?
I don't know, just my thoughts.
