#12 wet daffodil on Flickr.

Via Flickr: I had some spare time on Saturday afternoon and I'd noticed the daffodils in the garden, I just couldn't resist cutting a bunch and taking some photos. Strobist info: Using a grey background I isolated the flower with an SB700 speedlight to the left of the subject diffused through a softbox and a white bounce card to the right to add a little bit of fill light where the harsher shadows were falling. I took this shot last year with my old Nikon D40, a tripod and a torch. Kinda makes me want to try more light painting... its been a while...
