Currently watching: Yonderland s1, it's all "sensible chuckle" to me, but it's not making me obsessed sadly. Also watching Taskmaster Australia s5 as it airs, and rewatched a bit of s2 cause Lloyd Langford is a legend and such a crush <3 wish he did the UK one!! (fun fact: he actually did the original Taskmaster at the Edinburgh fringe!)

Currently reading: Gideon the Nineth cause my good ex forced me and even tho it's well-written and has its merits, it's not my cup of tea at all :) so I've also read Tender Is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica in like two days to get a breath of "fresh reading air", and it was fucking incredible and so so fucked up (legalized cannibalism dystopia, so grim, short and sweet, and with a great twist in the end)

Current obsession: don't really have one? In9 and Taskmaster are always up there tho <3 but Reece and Steve should really hurry up to do something soon & together, or else 🔪

Currently working on: sort of learning to manage my mental health by myself without a therapist, and writing endless lists of stuff I want to do. Also working on my book pretty consistently, 1h a day no matter what! Even if nothing good comes of it, I'm surprised/happy with my attitude towards it now!

Coffee or tea: huge coffee hater, and I love tea <3

Currently watching: started watching Halt and Catch Fire recently and it's surprisingly compelling! If you like old computers and/or Lee Pace, then you'll probably enjoy it 😊

Currently reading: Nation, by Terry Pratchett. Genuinely very gripping... I won't spoil it but apparently he thought it was his best book, and I can see why! I also finished the audiobook of The Riddles of the Sphinx by Anna Shechtman - a very nice feminist history of crosswords 😊

Current obsession: I remembered how much I used to love the James Bond movies and I've fallen down that rabbit hole again 😅 some of them have aged so badly, but some have kept their charm... and I'm old enough to appreciate Timothy Dalton now

i think i made a post complaining about this at the time (likely) but it still annoys the HELL out of me that my uni course took until literally our FINAL FUCKING YEAR to teach us about one of the cornerstones of understanding and studying art history (i can't remember what it was called? but it was effectively looking at how art historians have certain biases and general critiques of things like the 'art canon' and looking into the context artists were creating their work in etcetc like BASIC fucking stuff that should have been DAY ONE of our course)
