Hello, this is your humble lord and leader, Hidenori Tabata. The Ghosts are a little... understaffed right now, so I've decided to start a large campaign to return the gang back to its former glory.

Hello everyone! Boss-sama has entrusted me, third in command, as the new leader. Well, the way the information was conveyed to me was rather, uh... 

Anyway! Now that I am the leader, a few changes will be made, but nothing drastic. First off, the member roster has been cleared (most of them were MIA anyway). Thus, the positions of underboss and lieutenants have been cleared.

Second, I will not let my personal feelings discriminate against applicants. I want a diverse group of all ages!

Thirdly, I will be more discriminate about who the group protects. Now that we are an organization with a real purpose (which will reveal itself in time), we do not have the time or the resources to just protect people willy-nilly. 

Lastly, I am making a new rule in which blabbing to the authorities in anyway results in an immediate expulsion from the gang. You will also be marked on our hit list as a target. Please keep this in mind before you go traitor.

Izaya had put the phone to the side for a moment to move to his computer, but the sound of it buzzing against the hard surface of the end table next to him decided it for him. Staying where we was, he picked up the phone and flipped it back open; Angled eyes flicking over the text message silently.

He hummed quietly as he finished, thinking for a moment. Suddenly, a harsh grin flashed over his expression; Eyes cold.

"You really don’t know anything, Kamanosuke-san. Do you?” He snickered, his fingers easily typing a reply. “It’s really not a good idea to underestimate the Defense Force, after all— I work for them too, ne~?”

REPLY TO: 446787 MESSAGE: Dignity and subtlety are all a part of a gang, ne~? After all, if you're too loud or flashy the police will be on you without a moments notice. Ah-- And I wouldn't completely underestimate the TCDF, Kamanosuke-san. They have some... skilled members working for them that aren't actually listed to be on their official payroll reports.

There was that same mark with the note that was left in the apartment the day she arrived. She didn’t know if she was more curious, or scared with the assumption that these ‘ghosts’ had some bone to pick with her. More over, how could they have possibly known anything about her? 

However, Rena’s determination had been greater than her fear and curiosity. She quickly dials the number scrawled on the paper. Wondering just who was the person who had sent her the note.
