okay wait let's actually talk about these. because some of them would be So Fucking Cool
Like, Ezekiel vs Eva. I feel like I'm the only person alive who's this fixated on these two in particular but on my life this finale would be So good promise promise
"but there wouldn't be any tension, Eva would beat him easily" would she though? like, she's strong and agile and decently smart, but like. don't discredit Zeke. the guy was raised on a farm, he knows his way around rural areas. bear in mind we've Never seen him in action (both his appearances were first episode boots) so we don't actually know what kind of skillset he might be hiding. what we do know is that he's a very good marksman, being able to hit a moving target from a wide distance (as his audition tape shows us). and during the cliff dive he does the jump with full enthusiasm and sticks the landing better than half the cast. not to mention his ability to cling to the outside of a plane shows that he's decently strong, and has serious stamina. literally the only thing that got him booted, both seasons, was that people didn't like him much. which, do people really like Eva that much? given that she was voted off immediately after being brought back in the only season she was in? this would be a closer match than you'd expect.
Geoff vs Bridgette. Do I even need to explain this. We've NEVER had a couple vs each other in a finale before (Heather and Alejandro don't count because they weren't together yet, and Mike and Zoey don't count because Mal did most of the heavy lifting so it was more Mal vs Zoey). but like. seriously imagine it. they have all the hallmarks of a happy healthy couple but we've seen all the baggage under the surface. they Say they're going to split the million no matter who wins but we've seen first hand how easily Geoff can be corrupted by the press and the fame. do you see my vision
okay I'll be honest Staci vs Dakota is an exception here because Staci was practically designed to exclusively be a first-boot character.
Lindsay vs Lightning, on the other hand, would KICK ABSOLUTE ASS. Neither of them are all that smart but they both make up for it in different ways. Lightning is obviously strong and athletic, but he's also very difficult to knock down. That guy is stubborn, and we've seen the personal stake he has to win. Lindsay on the other hand spent the entire first season getting pushed around before being eliminated on the dumbest technicality ever, then finally got to come into her own the next season. She's not the smartest but she's got good instinct, can strategize if she tries and only lost All-Stars because she basically quit. (Not to mention she's Chris' favourite, not that I'm going to unpack that.) The Lightning vs Admiral Lindsay Her Hotness is a finale I would PAY to witness.
Beardo vs Leonard. yeah, again, these two were designed to be early boots. not much to say here. um. insert Beardo Dies joke.
I'm gonna level with you I have not watched Ridonculous Race so I don't know what to say about these guys
OH MY GOD CALEB VS AXEL VS NICHELLE. OH MY GOD THIS WOULD RULE. Caleb has proven himself strong, charismatic and overall pretty great at challenges, he just didn't get to flesh out his potential in the first season. (Thanks, Bowie.) Axel... kicks ass and takes names, what else is there to say? And Nichelle, now that she's got actual training, is a fierce adversary. This finale would be TIGHT
Scary Girl vs Chase vs Millie wouldn't be as cool (I lowkey hate Chase and Millie isn't a standout as a competitor, and I say that lovingly), but i think it could still be interesting if you played your cards right. and imagine. Best Girl Lauren as a finalist. tell me that would not be amazing. seriously.
