Hi everyone, I’ve been MIA for about 2 years now and I’d like to explain why. My name is not Desiree, and I am not a feminist: please hear me out.

When I started this blog it was an experiment to see what the other side was REALLY like. Without the media middle man, without an opposite opinion, just purely in the thick of it. And I learned that you all are just like me, human. I believe that this America has been so filled with hate by what we say/hear about each other and it has to stop. The only way that our nation will prosper is through unity, and we are more divided than ever.

My name is Lainy, and I’m a Christian. And I am sorry that I lied, but I’m not sorry for what I’ve learned. You can hate me, unfollow me, ask me whatever you want, but this is a new beginning for this blog. Soon I will change it to spread love and the message of Jesus and I understand that’s not everyone’s thing, but I’d appreciate it if you stick around.

because they’re still teaching girls to walk faster at night instead of teaching boys that they shouldn’t rape.

Because they’re teaching kids that they’re only male rapists and not female rapists too.

I can’t fucking believe my eyes. A man is being sentenced to death because he’s gay and a lifetime in prison would be something he would enjoy. This is sickening. Everyone should know about this.

Relatedly, the crime was actually committed in 1992 and he was convicted the following here, meaning he’s been fighting his death row sentence for twenty-five years. A ruling made last year in 2017 should’ve given the Supreme Court leeway to overturn the death sentence, but they didn’t.
