I was thinking about how Cardassian literature is like "before we begin you must know the whole family tree and history thereof for all our main characters. This may take a while" and my brain spat out the concept of Julian getting Garak to read the lord of the rings and I think I'm onto something here I think I'm having a galaxy brain moment
