decided to lock in and do a spread fuck i need to draw more
i realized i haven’t done nearly as much as ive wanted to this summer so time for mid summer lock in
my fic WILL be written, my summer read SHALL be read, my sketchbook IS GOING to be filled
uhmmmm more toby hc below o_O:
-quiet and shy most of the time, doesn’t really talk to anyone unless he has too. Can be sarcastic and passive aggressive, very petty and hypocritical. He’s chattier and more playful around people he’s close to, however
-has a weird ass memory bc of slenderman. Can’t remember anything from before he was 17, the only thing that remains are lingering emotions that are sometimes triggered by certain things/events, which results in him being subconsciously nervous in car rides and refusing any sort of alcohol and/or substances. His mind forgot, but his body remembers.
-i also see him jumbling up common sayings/idioms bc of his amnesia, so instead of “barking up the wrong tree,” he’d say something like, “barking up the wrong bush”
-anthropomorphizes things. Treats his hatchets like a person would with their luxury car, constantly “spoiling” them by regularly cleaning, sharpening, and caring for tjem. Refers to his hatchets with female pronouns (she/her).
-a casual cannibal; he eats the limbs of his victims when he feels like it, not strictly out of necessity. Picked it up after watching Jack and curiosity got the best of him.
-a lapsed catholic, though some habits die hard. Has religious trauma from his dad’s attempts to “fix” his son (carrie 2.0)
-weirdly superstitious? Loops back to his hypocrisy; he murders people no prob but believes four leaf clovers or seeing a rainbow is lucky (lucky for what, exactly, is beyond him)
-emetophobic (has no real basis, lowk js me projecting) hmm i feel like he’d develop this once his father became an alcoholic. Hearing/seeing his dad vomit regularly heavily freaked younger toby out
