I haven’t seen the HTTYD remake yet but it’s hilarious to me how John Powell wasn’t allowed to use the same track names so he just decided to be a troll.

Ahsoka Episode 6 is peak Star Wars because it gave us new funky lil guys
Not to be all “ive connected the dots” but i find it interesting that we’ve gotten scenes in two different episodes of bo and din eating together, because seeing them almost back to back explains so much. Of course din’s never heard of the special mando soup, what meaning is food going to keep to a group that never eat in front of each other? In the real world culture and food are intrinsically tied together, and preserving one often means preserving the other. It’s how we bond with people, remember loved ones, re-live happy memories. There’s a reason that the cheat code for the found family trope in fiction is to show a bunch of characters eating a meal together.
Yet with the covert we have a group that is both incredibly dogmatic about mandalorian tradition and culture, professing absolute commitment to preserving their past, but who apparently don’t even share meals together? Suddenly the fact that din seems to know nothing about star wars kind of makes sense, there was no dinner table to learn around. Everyone just takes their food from the pot and finds a little corner to eat in alone. A rule, I’d like to point out, din has broken several times with his sneaky little half helmet shimmy. Specifically to eat with grogu.
And as much as this episode shows bo integrating more with the covert, there’s something so sad about how she gets left to eat alone. It’s the only time we see her with her helmet off the entire episode and she looks just as sad and alone as she did on her depression throne.
For a bunch of true believers they really don’t care that bo katan does not buy into the creed, just that she’s gone through the motions of being “redeemed”. Over and over again the act of performing the ritual is deemed more important than actually participating in it. In other words, I don’t trust the armorer for a single second, and I don’t care what anyone says, these people are in a cult.
Maybe it’s a bit of a rude reality check for her. Bo-Katan has been in a cult before, so maybe being left alone at dinner reminds her how quickly a cult will just all turn their backs on you and leave you alone on a dime.
Also, even without the whole cult thing, it may remind her of how her own forces “melted away” leaving her alone in the castle.
As for the Armorer, I kinda got gaslighting vibes from her reaction to Bo-Katan revealing she saw a Mythosaur. Gaslighting, of course, is an abuse technique that revolves around making the victim question their sanity. So, the Armorer first suggests it was a vision, knowing Bo-Katan doesn’t believe in that vision stuff. She knew what Bo-Katan really meant from the start. Then the Armorer acts like, “What, like seeing a Mythosaur is supposed to be a big deal?”
I’m sticking by my fan theory that the Armorer is pulling some sort of cruel long con trap on Bo-Katan, the way Elia Kane pulled a cruel long con trap on Dr. Pershing (although it may seem at first blush that this story takes place over a few days, it seems to have been over a longer period of time due to Dr. Pershing’s ear wound healing).
Yo my red flags went up for the Armorer when she just automatically accepted Bo and Din back into the fold. Like does anyone else know what should have happened when she poured the mando cave water to verify they did bath? Gray mist…k what does that mean? She just said they are accepted and that word was final no one else questions it. Even though none of them spoke up for Din prior to his trip to the caves.
But as a cult leader, she needs to stay in control, so from her perspective; here comes the mando that wields the dark saber and the other has the historic legacy name that could be useful later on. The Armorer knows Bo is alone, her people are scattered, and allowing her to stay ensures the Armorer can keep an eye on Bo.
So yeah, Din and Bo were gonna be redeemed, even the Armorer knows just how dangerous those two Mandos could be, especially when they work together. Because the only other mando that would have accepted Din if the Armorer hadn’t accepted him back, would have been Bo.
AO3 Etiquette
It would seem a whole new kind of AO3 reader/writer is emerging and it is becoming clear not everyone quite understands how the website community works. Here is some basic guidance on how most people expect you to go about using AO3 to keep this a fun community archive that funtions correctly:
Kudos is for when the story was interesting enough to make you finish reading. If it sucked or was badly written, you probably left. If you finished - you kudos.
If you liked it, you should comment. It can be long and detailed or a literal keysmash. Writers don't care, we just love comments.
No critisism unless the author has specifically asked or agreed to hear it. Even constructive critisism is a no-no unless an author note tells you it's okay. Many people write as a fun hobby or a way to cope with, among other things, insecurity. Don't ruin that for them.
Do not comment to ask the author to write/update something else. It's tacky and off-putting and will probably have the opposite effect than the one you want.
There is no algorithm, it's an archive. Use the search and filter function to add/remove the pairings/characters/tropes etc. you want to read about and it will find you the fics that fit the bill.
For this to work, writers must tag and rate stories. This avoids readers finding the wrong things and missing the stuff they want. I don't care how cringy that trope is in your eyes - it gets tagged.
Character A/Character B means a ROMANTIC or SEXUAL relationship of some kind. Character A&Character B is PLANTONIC, like friendship or family.
Nothing is banned. This is an implicit rule because banning one thing is a slipperly slope to banning another and another, until nothing is allowed anymore. Do not expect anyone to censor for you. Because of the tags system, you are responsible for your own reading experience.
People can create new chapters and sequels/fic series any time after they "complete" a story. So it's considered perfectly normal to subscribe, even to a finished story. You can even subscribe to the author instead just to cover your bases.
Do not repost stories or change the publishing date without an extremely good reason (like a complete top to bottom rewrite). It's an archive, not social media. No one cares what's the most recent, only what fits their tag needs.
Avoid deleting a story you wrote if you hate it - orphan it so others can still enjoy it, without it being connected to you anymore.
This is a creative fanfiction archive. No essays on your insights or theories please. There are other places for that.
I KNOW there's plenty more I missed but I'm trying to cover most of the basics that people seem to be struggling with.
I invite anyone to add to this, but please explain, don't berate.
Gotta say, its nice they still made sure Omega got a Carreer Day!
but at the same time: WHERE IS CROSSHAIR 😭😭😭😭😭
meeting the jedi council can be scary - better hide under your future master's spare robe!
I love how every time a new piece of Star Wars media comes out my brain goes into overdrive to try and come up with SOME WAY a character could possibly make an appearance using the new canon material
For example; TBB s2
The batchers are broke and are living pay check to paycheck (thx Sid) then comes along a huge score and what happens? Shit goes sideways and they leave with nothing (except and child’s toy and a very injured Tech) They need to get better and that part of the job…making plans. I mean the opening scene of the season was hunter, wrecker and echo hauling ass back to the ship cause something went wrong. I’m not saying Rebels crew was perfect, but they had plans for when exactly things go wrong.
Conclusion: who is currently still loose in the galaxy that’s not a friend to the Empire and has plenty of experience getting profit?
Hondo Ohnaka, that’s who.
I mean he’ll love Omega, he’ll drive every one crazy and in the end TBB will learn something new and make a new friend, at least Hondo hopes they’re friends
Admiral Rampart is a bitch. That is all.
If it’s any consolation, Tarkin will probably kill him to take credit for project war mantel
Howdy newbies and welcome to Tumblr, it takes a bit of setup to get this site running well so here’s what works for me. One of the neat things about this site is that its a different experience for everyone, so tailor these settings towards what you want from this site.

I still think Mon Mothma could and should solve all her problems by framing Perrin for embezzlement.
ANDOR | S1 - Ep9 | “NOBODY’S LISTENING”
I don’t know what the plan is for Tales of the Jedi, if there’ll be more seasons, but if there is, I’d give Filoni every one of my paychecks for each season to focus on different Jedi
Give me Shaka Ti and the clones
Give me the youngling creche
Give me Depa and Caleb
Give me Kit Fisto
Give me Quinlan on missions
Give me Ayala and Bly
Give me young Obi struggling with unruly young Anakin
Give me Mace getting increasingly more worried about the force’s increasing cloudiness
There’s an entire temple of Jedi, the possibilities are endless
The potential for this series is crazy like;
Caleb Kanan right after o66 when he jumps the canyon, all the way till he meets Hera in A New Dawn
Asaji Ventress’ back story as a once Jedi youngling into padawan as her master was killed
The year on Mandalore with Obi-wan, Satine and Qui-gon (one can only dream, right?)
Grogu’s escape from the temple during o66 (we could still get that answered in Mando tho)
The struggle the Order has when the war breaks out and Jedi are recalled from other missions to lead Clone battalions, we see exactly how ‘spread thin’ the Jedi are and the consequences of that
What happens to Force-sensitive children born on separatists worlds during the war?
What exactly happened to Luminara post-o66 that led to the….state we find her in during Rebels.
BARRIS OFFEE: explanation, motives and conclusion!
What happened to the other padawans who survived the Trandoshan island during the Padawan Lost arch with Ahsoka?
ToTJ? More like Tales of Quin-Lin Vos, nuff said
How does one go from Temple Guard to Grand Inquistitor?
Literally ANY Jedi character’s first trip to Illum
Anyone else find it odd we’ve seen no stormtroopers?
I mean, we’re several episodes deep, we’ve been to multiple Imperial worlds and buildings, I know they wanted to focus on the corporate security force for the start of the show, but now Farrix is under imperial control.
Coruscant had very little, Aldhani has billions of credits sitting there and no troopers guarding it, and we have no B-roll like footage of them on random patrols
My point is this; they have to be holding out for some reason.
When we first see a TIE fighter, it was the first time in a long time I’ve watched A SINGLE TIE FIGHTER be terrifying in canon. The sound echoing off the mountain valley, the wind when it swoops down low to the ground, the characters dive for cover and hold their ears and their breath in case the TIE starts shooting.
In other SW media, Rebels and books mostly, TIEs are trash ships, they are deployed like a swarm of bugs from cruisers and x-wing pilots joke about their tallies of kills, the Ghost crew bonded over stealing one and painting it, Finn and Poe meet and escape in one, Rey takes one down with a swing of a saber, and in general they’re just another method the Empire/FirstOrder designed to overwhelm opponents.
But not in Andor.
In Andor they are scary, they are loud, and that was only one of them.
Andor is real, it’s showing the story of those fighting a war without magic Force tricks or incredible power or resources.
If that TIE in ep. 5 wanted some target practice…those Aldhani rebels would be done. Gone. And there would be no way to defend themselves.
And stormtroopers? Same set up.
The Bucket-heads are foolish and infamously bad at shooting, they hit their heads on doorways and march in silly lines, their minds are weak and can be Jedi-tricked, their armor is ineffective and is stolen for sneak~reasons, and they are NOWHERE in Andor…. yet
Whatever they have planned, whatever their entrance could be, it’s not going to be silly or stupid. Characters will die and the audience won’t be laughing.
