Been on a bit of a ff reading kick, and most of it has been re-reading bookmarked fics. Was reading Your Health Insurance Doesn’t Cover That by SomethingWitty and was inspired to draw JimKirk from the fic, here’s my sketch so far.

Did a collaboration piece with a friend! We added the first few pins to on board on Pinterest after refreshing the main page. Then we added other like pins and used that board for inspiration. This is what I came up with!

@rekaholic is hosting an challenge for the month of April and I thought I’d join in. The challenge is an art prompt and a sharing prompt each week. The first week’s art prompt is ‘hybrid” and the sharing prompt is “What is your favorite tools at the moment?” For the prompt hybrid, I decided to go with a half elf & half human character. I had already been feeling a little inspired by @feefal ’s latest plantone post so I combined the two alongside some inspiration from Pinterest. Tattoos were inspired by Moogulu (an south indian art form) and @gunga_ma My current favorite tools for art are my ipad and procreate. The combo has been my go-to art tools for the past 5/6 years (basically when I got them). That being said I want to get into using Clip Studio Paint and my Huion tablet more. I first started digital art with my laptop and a graphics tablet. What are your favorite tools at the moment?

Recently finished Babel by RF Kuang and made some fun quote graphics for some quotes in the book that I related

I was doodling and liked how some of the poses I did turned out. So I took a few, grabbed a color palette from coolors and turned it into this!

I push my knuckles against the xenonite. "It's 'fist-bump,' but yeah."

tip to save an artists life... if transferring big files over cloud service (or wirelessly in general) is giving u trouble, you can very easily use a USB stick and an usb-c to usb-a converter to just.. copy and paste stuff to your pc 🥲

for older ipad models a lightning to usb-a would potentially work (altho always check bc.. apple hates us)... i had to figure this out bc my internet connection is too unstable to succesfully transfer my bigass illustration files 🧍

Still working my way through The Ogress and the Orphans. It's a decent read but not feeling pulled to read it so I might DNF it? So far, it has kind of just been meh for me. Have you read this book? What did you think about it? Should I continue reading it?
