PERCEPTION FUNCTIONS (in short):
Extraverted Sensing (Se): experiencing the immediate context, taking action in the physical world, noticing changes and opportunities for action, accumulating experiences, scanning for visible reactions and relevant data, recognizing "what is." noticing what was available, trying on different items, and seeing how they look. noticing details.
Introverted Sensing (Si): reviewing past experiences, "what is" evoking "what was", seeking detailed information and links to what is known, recalling stored impressions, accumulating data, recognizing the way things have always been. remembering the last time they wore a particular item or the last time they were at a similar event. maybe even remembering how they felt then.
Extraverted iNtuiting (Ne): interpreting situations and relationships, picking up meanings and interconnections, being drawn to change "what is" for "what could possibly be", noticing what is not said and threads of meaning emerging across multiple contexts. noticing the possible meanings of what you might wear: "wearing this might communicate…"
Introverted iNtuiting (Ni): foreseeing implications and likely effects without external data, realizing "what will be", conceptualizing new ways of seeing things, envisioning transformations, getting an image of profound meaning or far-reaching symbols. envisioning yourself in an outfit or maybe envisioning yourself being a certain way.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Se is NOT chaotic adventurer. every function can be chaotic because it's not part of brain's perceiving or judging function. you can't judge anything based on chaotic. Extroverted Sensing users can also look into future and past but present comes to them naturally and they prioritize it.
2. Si isn't just rules, traditions etc. it's more than that. even if Introverted Sensing users use trusted experiences to guide them it doesn't make them less "cooler" type than other types. in fact, their ways of doing and perceiving things can be helpful.
3. Ne isn't just brainstorming and having hundreds of ideas. it's not just "oh he asked what was the possibility of something therefore he is a Ne user". Extraverted iNtuition actually can be a bit similar to Introverted iNtuition. i suggest you to explore those functions in depths and find better understanding of them. i will try to write more information about them here.
4. Ni isn't just insights and predicting future. many people might have hard time describing Introverted iNtuition's internal framework, especially Ni users themselves. this function isn't only about finding meanings. Ne users also tende to find meanings in this. <the last part of please note Ne>
