Recently I played Dispatch, and I really needed a fun and funny narrative game, and that’s what my friends recommended I try, although I’m not at all familiar with the universe.
And I loved it. It’s beautiful.
It is clever and funny and stylish and fun. The characters are lovable and smart and adventurous. The story is welcoming and intriguing. The openings in each episode are breathtaking and the setting is so cool and the music overall is amazing.
But now I’m left with two holes in my chest.

First, we need more games like this, and I don’t know what to do about it.
Last, I’m so sad I couldn’t romance Fiona. So sad that the game not only doesn’t encourage it, it’s like it prohibits it.
The scenes are specifically conducted to be romantic and full of awe between Rhys and Sasha, but I don’t feel the spark. The chemistry between Rhys and Fiona, on the other hand, to me is juicy and fierce, the “kill each other or kiss each other” type. The saddest part is that even after you do all the three small steps to avoid the Sasha route and get as close as you can to the game’s version of choosing Fiona, Fiona still believes it’s about her sister and not her, hence the “Stay away from my sister”, which makes me sad.
I know this is a fresh emotional take, and it doesn’t take away from the incredible beauty that the game is. I will be however a Rhyiona stan forever, because however not?

Can't wait to see Sam psychologically torture Brennan through nothing but shirts with his faces on it. But I can also imagine Brennan seeing this and meeting the challenge, by wearing shirts with the worst (or best) Sam expressions.

Like, his baby brother is on the front lines of a massive battle. His husband is on the moon fighting a hive mind. The only way he can get information involves being near to The Bright Queen, who wants him in custody if not dead.
He’s already a ball of anxiety and he has been put into a situation.
