Forever in love with the idea of Jean becoming such a wonderful cook (he already is but imagine how much farther he can go) and for every single meal, no matter if it takes ten minutes or an hour to whip up- he always makes sure to let Jeremy 'taste test.' He always pulls Jeremy closer to the stove and therefore the meal in progress by either the waist or the hand, or sometimes he'll sit down on a stool at the kitchen island and pull Jeremy into his lap before he offers the sample. And Jeremy is always all smiles and shameless grinning, his dimples popping & eyes sparkling and of course Jean offers him these bites out of pure and unconditional love but oh if seeing Jeremy so happy and so pleased over something so simple and quiet isn't wonderfully lovely enough to make him fall even more head over heels for this man...

blessed with the divine vision that bb shane was a fucking STICKLER for equal application of rules when he was an itty bitty. he'll accept the rules just fine, but they will now be HOUSEHOLD rules.

and most of the time it's fine. shane's bedtime is 7:30 pm because he is so itty bitty, but yuna and david have always just gone to their room after that so bb just assumed they were also following The Time To Sleep rules.

which is all well and good until nana is visiting while staying with her sister, it's 7:40 pm, and she is just cooing and delighted at bb shane just repeating "night NIGHT" over and over from the doorway to the living room because she is not understanding that this is not him being cute and saying goodnight.

this is attempted enforcement of the rules because nana, it is time for NIGHT NIGHT and you are clearly NOT ready for night night, and to TOP IT ALL OFF!! YOU ARE KEEPING MAMA AND DADDY FROM NIGHT NIGHT. RULES!! BROKEN!! RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS LITTLE BABY FACE. >:(

in law school, my mom took me to this stress retreat because my family was vaguely aware i was a suicide risk. and they didnt allow phones, so i brought this huge bag of books. and one of the options for "destressing" was this fake cave grotto thing, where they'd decorated a room to make it look exactly like an underground cave and the air was like -10 degrees, but there was a like 4ft deep pool in the middle that was kept super super hot, so you would just switch between the hot and cold. and they would bring you an endless supply of this weird syrupy drink thing that was like super caffeinated and tasted like sugar and mint. and so i spent multiple days sitting half submerged in this fake grotto drinking mystery liquid and reading. and i have to be honest i really did feel less stressed

Neil tilts his head up to catch Andrew’s lips with his own, stealing one more lingering kiss, because without it, the warmth Andrew leaves behind somehow never feels complete. only after that last kiss does the lingering heat of Andrew’s touch finally settle exactly where Neil wants it.
