i’m just obsessed with the fact that the three of them still work so many years later. from what i’ve gotten textually from the show, yes, hardison and parker are dating, but the family unit is hardison/parker/eliot.

hardison and parker are shown to be physically affectionate, but there’s an electric and stable type of connectedness between all of them showing how in each other’s lives they have been:

eliot and hardison pointing where the stolen art belong,

parker and eliot always ending up together,

parker and hardison getting excited together,

the inside jokes,

the big decision making.

parker highlights his emotional connection to this specific team and eliot brings out his sense of duty. the other couldn’t provide the emotional support the other can, but as a unit, there’s help at every corner. parker still has eliot who has been her partner in (undoing) crime for years. eliot has parker, his partner that keeps him sharp. and both of them rest easy knowing hardison is using his big heart for good.

however, while canon has established that they have thoroughly,

been in each other’s lives, it has not been explicitly stated it’s a polyamorous thing. canon, for me, would be them saying in no uncertain terms that eliot has also lived with them, or something like that. or perhaps, they would establish it in the middle of the second half of the season.

that being said, i have an enormous amount of fun with the show, and for whatever reason we haven’t been able to get our canon ot3, i’m so happy we see them as a family first and foremost, because it would have been so easy to let that disappear between the years.

I'll be honest, don't want a season 2 if Aldis Hodges can't be in most or all of it. As much as I love Breana and Harry something just felt off the second half of season 2. I just wasn't enjoying it as much as I hoped.

And then Hardison popped up in the finale and everything was right with the world again.

#part if it is that i hated the marshall character #i honestly dont care if the ot3 is canon #(its not currently no matter what the writers try to claim for points)#but her and elliot just didnt work for me #and it felt very rushed and forced #id much rather see elliot with tara from the original series #i got good vibes from their pairing back then #and it would be fun to see her come back

Iowa is not a lost cause. In the three decades before Trump Iowa voted for Democratic presidential candidates all but once. There are real people living here affected by these policies. But there is a chance to make a difference, to make things better.

It has to be said that one of the biggest flaws in the human design is such a profound inability to admit you've been wrong that you can't even admit collectively bullying someone when you were all like 14 was never that funny

Obviously John Green's tumblr experience is far from the worst example of this phenomenon, but it is a pretty good reminder why a lot of the world is the way it is

#at least half the reason america's political parties are so fucked up #is the majority of people will never admit they were wrong to support one party or the other #and will continue to vote for that party literally no matter what happens

to the people in the notes making the argument that every combination of letters is a word in some language: sure. but you’ll want to at the least know what that word is! naming your character detergent in another language is pretty different from naming your character slut in another language

being born in the late 90′s is a really weird time because our coming of age is/was so tied into the expansion of personal technology? like for so many of us the transition from getting your first flip phone to smartphones wasn’t just a technology shift, it was part of growing up. and it created this really weird timeline where new technologies were being created right as we entered the right age market to use them, so now we all know intuitively how to use snapchat or the social context of emoji use or whatever but we can also remember childhoods spent (almost) entirely outside and offline. like you get all the disillusionment of the older millennial generation except now with the stress of spending your adolescence measuring yourself against others on social media and it’s really fucking confusing
