Hi Everybody!

Today I'm very happy to bring you an update on this kitchen countertop. If you've been following me for a while, you might remember when I posted the first version (here), which was my first time trying to recolor this object. I remember having a lot of difficulty and giving up once, then trying again. The result at the time was wonderful for me, but with time and experience gained in recoloring, I started noticing imperfections that didn't bother me before.

Today, while redoing this kitchen countertop, I'm very happy with my progress. I believe I still need to learn much more, but we're moving in the right direction. This version has 5 options. I'll also leave links to the accessories for this item that make the kitchen even more complete, and I'm sure you'll love the result.

I wanted to make all my swimsuits unisex, so I figured out how to add custom tanktops to some swim shorts without messing with the mesh. And so, I present two FOUR tank-topped recolors of @megamassikalove's TS4 EP07 Shorts Swim conversion and two FOUR more of @rented-space's TS4 EF01 Swim Shorts Board Curve conversion. Enjoy the pool! I made a quick mod that affects pet-to-furniture interaction. Basically, it just makes it so that no matter how long they chew or scratch for, furniture will never be destroyed. This was because I was annoyed of training all pets to be perfect and well behaved. Let bad pets be bad! I like to have some sims be lazy owners or I headcannon them as too nice to scold and discipline, but also I was tired of constantly replacing furniture. This is different from MidgeTheTree's mod as that disables scratching/chewing of furniture entirely. This mod still allows the bad behavior to exist, just without the pile of rubble and trash. Enjoy~

MYSHUNO! Updated C&K functional puzzles 🧩!

Tired of your Sim knocking their head into the counter? Floating kids? Itsy-bitsy thumbnails? And....that they never put it back! NEVER! Just drop it where they stand *sighs*.

C&K @crispsandkerosene did a fabulous job with the two puzzles💕I love them. Basicallly every household in my game has at least one. They just got even more fabulous now ;)

Can be placed on fireplace mantels or any other deco slot and will be picked up, too.

Absent-minded Sims (trait) will still drop it where they stand.

Added an option to pick it up and put it into a sims inventory.

Gimme a home among the Gum Trees...

Hello fellow Aussie simmers (and others too of course!)

Ever wished for some really Australian looking trees for the Sims 2? Me too.

I have finally overcome my fear of trees, with much support from amazing friends like @tvickiesims, and would like to share some gifts with you all.

Read on below

Firstly, a while ago, @jacky93sims fulfilled a request to convert some Yeronga Trees. I've taken those, recoloured them a little (cos they were a bit too "green" lol) and made hood deco versions too.

These are super pretty, I quite love them.

Next, I found a free model online for a Ghost Gum tree and went "ohhhh, pretty!!!!" and made that into a hood & lot tree.

Then, I got my fingers into the amazing, wonderful work of Tvickiesims, and I messed around with a buuuuuuunch of trees, mostly just re-sizing and retexturing things. I would like to give a HUGE shoutout to Vickie for ALL of her amazing trees and her support during my project.

I messed with 2 previously done Eucalyptus tree conversions -

I messed around with a cute little "Mimosa tree" and made it into a Golden Wattle tree that flowers in winter (no snow) and spring -

I messed around with a conversion from Adventure Awaits that kind of looked like a bottlebrush tree and made it look a bit more like a bottle brush tree, this one is for lots only:

I messed around with the "Mighty Hawthorn Tree" and made it into a "Mighty Gum Tree" instead - on the right

I messed around with Vickie's 4t2 Batuu tree conversion and made it into another gum tree:

Aaaaand I messed with a "rainbow gum" conversion of hers too and retextured and re-sized it - 2nd on the right:

I also took a tree she'd done called the Salix tree and made a slightly larger hood deco version cos I thought it looked a bit like a peppercorn tree, which is technically a South American tree but these are alll over NSW:

I, erm, may have gotten a little carried away.

The fun thing about Australian gums is that there's

a) a million different varieties, and

b) they're all super unique, so I felt like I needed many different tree models😂

Just in case you've never really seen a great big old Australian Gum Tree before 😊 They can be quite huge and rather spectacular!

All trees are "seasonal" as in they have snowy states and should not flash blue in any season (hopefully), and some have flowering states in select seasons. However, Eucalyptus / Gum trees are evergreen so don't change colour or lose their leaves in autumn and tend to stay about the same year-round, so the season variability is fairly low 😊

Double Helix Bookshelf Mesh Edit + Recolors

It was only a matter of time, really, before I started editing meshes for maxis objects. So when faced with the Double Helix Bookshelf (shown here with @tvickiesims' book defaults), which has a vibe I enjoy but is a bit too... double helix-y?... for most scenarios, I decided to simplify the design to make it more versatile. I also made the back and the posts into separate recolorable subsets.

Includes two files for use with Numenor's CEP: one to put in Documents and one to put in Program Files. (More info here.)

🔧Guys, this is a big one !

Have you ever wanted some utilities to make your houses look more realistic? Well, I really did, so I converted SIXAM's Home Improvements set; it's 49 objects in total! 🛠️ You'll have lots of things to decorate your basements, garages, bathrooms or backyards. I tried to make as many objects functional as I could, and kept a deco version too, so you can pick and choose.

This was a massive undertaking, took me MONTHS, but I'm glad I did it, and boy am I glad to be done with it too 😅

You can find the original Sims 4 set here, by SIXAMcc. A collection file is included in the download for convenience. It’s also low poly and basegame compatible. Also lots of credits !!

Onto the technicals. There's a lot of info, but the most important is in the blockquote below. Everything you need should be included in the folder.

⚠️ You'll need Midge's Custom Alarm for the Burglar Alarm to work, which I included in the download. You'll also need to keep the craftable objects for the Workbench in your download folder.

You can have every Deco and Functional object in your game at the same time ‼️ You can pick and choose what you want.

💧 The Water Pipe Large is repo'd to the Thin one and the Gas Pipe Horizontal is repo'd to the Vertical one. The Drain 02 is repo'd to Drain 01. There's a working Faucet I cloned from this one by @jacky93sims (you can't wash babies with it). The AC Split & AC Mini Split 💨💨 are also cloned from her Air Conditioner and are repo'd to each other. They're based on Simlogical Air Conditioning, which regulates a room's temperature. You can read the details here. The Tank Water heater & Tankless Heater are cloned from @lordcrumps' For Rent conversion here. They should act like solar panels ☀️ and take money off your bills, like his do.

🛠️ The Workbench is cloned from @deedee-sims' functional Woodworking Bench. I've included her craftable objects in the folder, you'll need them for the Workbench to work.

I modified the Workbench Table to work as a Computer Desk, and shortened the Stool so it could be sat upon. Both work well together.

Finding the correct category for each item was driving me insane. If you want to change the category, I recommend using Pick'N'Mix Object Relocator. It's very easy to use! If you load the objects first in-game, you'll get previews to help you sort them out in the relocator.

You do need a copy of LordCrump’s Shadow Files for the shadows to work though, but I have included a copy in the zip, as always.

A few items from Around the Sims 2's 'The Cat Café' set with edits and recolours!

The scratching rug and coffee table have been remapped and given second subsets - the original reason I made this was because I was frustrated that the table was always a little bit broken (and that there wasn't any recolour options), so I've fixed it in the process! The table is now repo to the BG club countertop, with the tabletop pulling from the wood and the legs pulling from the top, giving it what I thought was a cool look that fit well with the set as a whole. The plants in the centre have got an edited texture image which is much smaller than the original, and moved to a non-recolourable subset. (I did try to also repo it but in the end there wasn't really a suitable mesh to reference :/). The rug now is repo'd to Jonesi's bed blanket (included), with the wooden crate also repo'd to the club counter to match the table. It's a functional cat scratching post found in general/pets!

The University Project Project

This bi-monthly theme at GoS gave me some inspiraton, so here's a mod to celebrate GoS returning. :)

This mod gives university students a chance of bringing college project instead of standard written homework, using TS4 Discover University meshes and textures.

Project will look differently for each major. Undeclared Sims and custom majors get randomly one of 11 projects.

Chance of bringing a college project is by default 20%.

College projects take longer to finish, but are more rewarding, letting your Sims gain some skills and hobby enthusiasm. There's 50/50 chance of gaining either logic skill or charisma skill, because those are the skills that made sense to me in the college project context.

As for enthusiasm:

Art project makes your Sims gain Art and Craft enthusiasm,

Biology project makes your Sims gain Nature enthusiasm,

Drama, History, Philosophy and Literature projects make your Sims gain Film and Literature enthusiasm,

Economics, Maths/IT, Physics and Psychology projects make your Sims gain Science enthusiasm,

Political Science project makes your Sims gain Games enthusiasm.

I know some of subjects might not be the best match for certain hobbies, but I didn't want to turn everything into Science and there's history of everything, so this major could fit into many hobbies, like art, music etc.

Sims have a chance of making college project of one of three qualities: low, mid and high. The outcome depends on Sim's grade and getting help with the project (but it only counts if it happens during quality check). If you use Smonaff's Fall Asleep While Doing Homework, Sims who have fallen asleep while working on their project can't make projects of high quality.

This mod conflicts with some mods:

if you are using simler90's Homework Assignment Mod (Full Version - it doesn't conflict with Placement Version), choose plug-in "zz_Meduza_UniversityProject_AssignmentFull" and make it load after both my mod and simler90's mod,

if you are using smonaff's Fall Asleep While Doing Homework, choose plug-in called "zz_Meduza_Smonaff_UniversityProjectFallAsleep" and make it load after both my mod and smonaff's mod,

if you are using @episims' Pencils by Color Traits, choose plug-in called "zz_Meduza_UniversityProject_ColorPencil" - Epi's mod doesn't conflict with mine, but you need this plug-in to get colorful pencils,

if you are using Dave_Luv's Faster Homework, choose plug-in called "zz_Meduza_UniversityProject_FasterHomework" and make it load after both my mod and Dave_Luv's mod.

DO NOT use my plug-in for simler90's Homework Assignment Mod (Full version) and my plug-in for Dave_Luv's Faster Homework - these mods are incompatible.

There's an issue when a project board is facing wall - the project won't turn around and your Sim will be doing their project even though they are facing the board's back. Right now I don't have a good solution for that. The best I can offer you is that you can cancel the action and turn the board around in the Buy mode. :/

Recolors:

I made some edits of jacket texture. You can compare it with original texture.

I made prints for jeans because I wanted this outfit look less formal.

I made red recolor for boots.

You can easily replace textures if don't like mine. If you want original jacket or jeans textures or want to swap shoe colors I added texture folder. Delete it if you don't want change anything.

How to replace textures? It's easy using YaPE by @chieltbest. Just drag and drop a texture from the folder onto a texture in the file. Don't forget to save.

Also if you want this outfit without turtleneck or want MDP jeans with shoeswap as a bottom write me.
