A/N: Hello I come baring an 800 to 900 word (i can't remember which) Reader/Bruce Wayne fic that I wrote awhile back and never went back to revise.
Warning(s): Language, Poor Quality tbh
NASA Donation: $23,435.56
You blink at the screen. He really thought he could get away with that, didn't he?
You turn your attention to the Janet, your assistant. "Hey, I'll be right back," you say. "I've got to go talk to Mr. Wayne."
Janet raises a brow as you slip your tablet in between your arms. "Mr. Wayne? This is the third time this week."
You roll your eyes as Janet continues, "You're not breaking any workplace rules, are you , Boss?"
You scoff. "Are you insinuating that I'm in a relationship with Mr. Wayne?"
Janet shrugs. "Maybe."
"Well, you're wrong. I'm just going to speak with him about the budget."
You walk toward the elevator and press the button for the top floor. You sigh. If only Janet knew the real reason why you were seeing Mr. Wayne so frequently.
It's been almost a year since you found out your boss' secret; which was just three months after you were promoted to Head Accountant at Wayne Enterprises. You don't understand how the previous head didn't realize that something was going on. For crying out loud, he tried to hide his Batmobile expenses as 'Baby Shower for Karen'. Who the fuck would spend almost six dollars on a baby shower?
A man who never stepped foot in a Walmart, thatâs who.
So after you confronted him three times about the matter- the first time he told a pretty convincing lie, the second time he fumbled, and the third time you, literally, caught him with his pants down (You decided to ambush him his private bathroom, which was totally stupid now that you think about it) -he admitted he was Batman.
Now, instead of being just the Head Accountant, you were also a part-time PR manager, replacement CEO for when he got knocked too many times in the head with Penguin's umbrella, and sometimes nurse.
Needless to say, all this makes your co-workers very suspicious.
Rumors spread quickly that you two are fucking on the top floor and that you're dating. A recent, mind-boggling one that you heard last week was that you were Damian's biological mother.
You didn't look anything like him.
The elevator doors open and you get on. It's surprisingly empty, and then you realize that it's lunch time and everyone is probably out eating.
You rest back against the wall. You begin to wonder of you could convince Mr. Wayne to grab a bite to eat with you. He did say he'd lunch with you since he got blood all over your carpet two weeks ago.
You shake your head. That's too risky, you tell yourself. Lunch together would get the rumor mill going much too quickly.
Besides, whenever you spend too much time with him you find yourself sharing gazes with him that are too long and you both invade each other's personal space so much that you should be reported to HR.
Sometimes you even think about him after hours. You shudder. So unprofessional.
But you canât help it. Heâs incredibly good looking and though heâs a hot mess, heâs trying his best and does lots of good for Gotham both in and out of the mask. Â Heâs also been more than nice to you, buying you the occasional coffee and lunch when you forgot to do so yourself.
And sure, you both flirted with some lingering touches here and a few innuendos there. Youâve even looked at his butt once. But to think that something to actually happen with him would be-.
Your growling stomach interrupts your thoughts. Damn, you would kill for some Korean barbeque right now. Or maybe Italian. You aren't picky.
The elevator dings and the doors slide open. You greet his secretary and the new intern as you approach his door. You rap against the mahogany; this was an urgent matter of money after all.
"Come in," he says.
You walk in and shut the door behind you. Bruce is sitting at his desk, tie undone slightly and hair ruffled up like he'd been running his fingers through it. He's hyperfixtated on whatever document is in his hands. He looks really good like that-
No! you remind yourself. This is a workplace. Work relations only!
You clear your throat to get his attention as you walk toward his desk. "Sir, I'd like a word with you about the...NASA donation."
He doesn't show it much, but you've spent enough time with him to know when he's startled. "Ms. (L/N), I-."
"-didn't realize I came in. I know." You quickly pull up the spreadsheet containing this month's finances on your tablet and pass it to him. "What is this NASA donation really for?"
He sighs. "The Justice League needs a space station."
You stare at him for a minute your rage actually sets in. "What for?! Excuse my language, Sir, but can't at least twenty-five percent of your friend group fucking survive in space?!"
"Yes, they can, but this station is for the other seventy-five that can't. Plus, it'd give us a bird's eye view, better reception from satellites, and a second meeting place. The Hall of Justice is too public now. When there's a real threat, we need a private meeting place."
Huh, he actually made good points. You lean against the desk, arms crossed over your chest. "That still doesn't excuse this insane amount of money that you're pulling from the company. What about the Spring Gala? The Winter Gala almost cut bonuses."
"I'll replace the money," he says nonchalantly. "I can afford to lose a boat or three."
You open your mouth to speak but your argument gets caught on your tongue. God, heâs good at justifying outrageously expensive spending.
He smirks at the dumb look on your face. "Does this mean I won?"
"Absolutely not, Sir." He passes you your tablet back. "In fact, you lost because you still owe me lunch. I'm hungry."
"Fine,â he says. âWhat are you in the mood for?â
You think for a moment. âLittle Ginoâs. Itâs only twenty minute drive. They have pretty good food.â
âAlright.â He grabs his keys. âLetâs go-.â
You put your hand on his chest to stop him and you can feel nothing but firm muscle. âYour tie, Sir.â You reach up, fingers brushing against his stubble and the silk knot of his tie. It probably costs more than your rent, hell, maybe even more than your deposit.
But of course, from Bruce Wayne you expect nothing less.
You tighten the knot and then smooth it out, fingers running down the length of the tie. Excessive, you know, but can you really be blamed?
You stop yourself before you get too handsy and strange expression flashes on his face before he returns to his usual, stoic self. âYou stopped.â
âSir, I was breaking some HR rules,â you explain.
âWhich ones?â he asks.
âI donât know but probably five of them.â
The space between you two seems to get smaller. âYou were only fixing my tie.â
You get a whiff of his cologne. Itâs a woodsy, smoky scent. âWhich warrants a complaint based on personal space and unwanted touching.â
You both lean into each other a bit, your faces just a few inches away. âAnd what if I wanted you to touch me?â
âThen that would result in a case of an inappropriate office relationship-.â
âItâs just touching,â he says, at bit of ire raising in his chest.
You fix his collar; another excuse to touch him without pushing it too much. âAnd rumors are just words, arenât they, Sir?â
He lets out a rumble from his throat and steps forward, causing the back your thighs to hit the edge of the desk. Heâs dangerously close; with everything touching...everything. This is beyond an HR issue now; this is definitely a lust issue. Your heart is racing, and your brain is trying to come up with ways to kiss him without causing any workplace issues.
Obviously, thatâs impossible, but still-.
He places his hands on the desk, on either side of your hips. âYou really know how to-.â
Something on his desk buzzes and you both look down. The communicator screen lights up with a picture of Nightwing, or rather, Dick Grayson, his first son who is notorious for flirting with the workers and using the budget on gifts for his current girlfriend.
Though he has matured a bit since he moved to BlĂźdhaven, heâs still a little playboy in your eyes.
Bruce picks up. âNightwing, what is it?â
âHey, B,â he says with a serious tone. âHarvey busted out of Arkham and somethingâs going on at the docks near Southeast and Wilkins College.â You both can hear a car engine in the background. âI already notified Gordon about both but I have a feeling Harvey needs to see you personally.â
You canât help but chuckle. âAre you really going Bat during the day?â you ask him. You imagine how ridiculous heâll look in broad daylight. Bruce gives you a pointed look.
âIs this that (Y/N)?â he asks, his voice now chipper. âHey! Whatâs up?â
âOh, yâknow, work,â you tell him.
Grayson snorts. âOh yeah, I bet you two are working real hard-.â
âGrayson,â growls Bruce, cutting off his protĂŠgĂŠe. âIâll be out there in twenty.â
âAlright, alright. Iâm sorry,â he says. âWe got a trucie, Brucie?â
Bruce hangs up and starts to rub his temples. âIâll...Iâll get lunch with you another time, alright?â He backs away from you and you for some odd reason you miss his closeness. Your face starts to flush. This is bad.
âY-Yes, Sir,â you say as you try to regain your composure.
âIf anyone asks, Damian got sick and I had to pick him up.â
âYes, Sir. Anything else, Sir?â
He grabs his wallet and hands you a few bills. âGo eat lunch.â
You hesitate for a moment before taking the money from him. âYes, Sir.â
You leave the room first, face still burning. The money is between your fingers, a stupid choice really, but youâre still a bit dazed from what happened. The intern gives you a look as you board the elevator but you canât be bothered to fret over rumors.
Youâre worried about your own emotions.
You two have always danced along the line of flirting, but what just happened was a bit...much. The fact the he was literally against you, the money; dear God, the money.
Bruce never, ever gave you money for things like this. Cash for an ice pack for his black eye? Sure, you didnât mind that. Using his card to buy him a new tie? Whatever. But money for your own personal use? This was overstepping some unspoken boundaries.
You unfold the bills and roll your eyes. Of course he gave you three hundred dollars.

Warnings: Language and mentions of sex (courtesy of Paulina)
Paulina purses her lips, pink gloss shining in the light of the sun. With a flip of her curls, she turns her head to her other best friend, Sam, and ask the question, "How do you know when you're in love? Like really in love?"
Sam looks up from her book, surprised by Paulina's sudden interest in the topic. "Love? Well, people fall in love in different ways so thereâs no one way to tell youâre in love."
"Well, how would someone who was...let's say....shy...fall in love?"
Sam hums a bit as she thinks. "Well, I guess, slowly. They probably wouldn't show a lot of affection, but they might spend more time with whoever they like. I guess they would do small things, like give their lover their favorite food or flower but, they might need a little push to help them make their move.â Sam cocks her head to the side. âWhy?"
Paulina shakes her head. "No particular reason." She picks up her brush and starts to work it through her thick hair. "So....what if you had a friend who was shy and in love-."
Sam narrows her eyes. "Paulina."
"-hey! Let me finish!" She clears her throat. "As I was saying, what if you had a friend who was shy and in love and you can see it in their eyes that they really, really, really, really wanna be with their crush, would you help them?"
Sam huffs. "Paulina, leave Dan and Valerie alone. All this love you're seeing is just you projecting!" Sam turns her attention back to her book. "Should've known you were gonna bring them up again."
"I'm not projecting!" says Paulina. "It's real love. I can feel! In my heart, in my blood! Even in my vagina!"
"Paul-....Paulina, you can't just...say that."
an apology
sorry for not updating this blog in two months!! my classes this spring semester are crazy and iâm constantly studying or busy doing club work or napping when i can.Â
as a peace offering, im posting part of the squeal to the Dark Gray Gods AU tomorrow. Iâve had it sitting on my computer since winter break, and even though itâs not finished, i feel like itâs better to post it on tumblr than have it collecting digital dust on word.Â
i also have a self-indulgent bruce wayne/reader in google docs, a continuation of that brickercup fic drabble, and i found an old and super cute truten fic on my phone that i might try to rewrite and post before my spring break is over.
xoxo thanks for still following me!Â
Teen Titans (2003) Episode Thirteen AU Questions: If Robin didnât hesitated on blasting Starfire with the thermal blaster, defeated his other former teammates, ran away and came back to Slade's lair (without his team finding out why he was acting the way he does), how much worse could things get from here on out for the Boy Wonder? And how would his team do without their old leader...but, with a new one in Cyborg?
tbh, i personally think it wouldâve gotten so bad to the point that maybe Bruce/Batman would have to intervene. In my head, Robin/Dick possesses a lot of pride in his early days, something heâs not willing to confront until he later becomes Nightwing. This fatal flaw (along with many others) would prevent him from getting help. Robin would probably succumb to Slade just like Terra, all while thinking this is for the best and that he is the only one that can stop Slade.Â
As for Cyborg being the new leader, it definitely shifts some dynamics. I feel like there would be a strain on his relationship with Beast Boy (but not for long), and Starfire would become more distant, which in turn, brings out the worst in Raven. Itâs very messy at the start, but eventually, they would definitely come together and work as a team to not only protect Jump City, but also try and find Robin. I think the Titans would be the one to call Batman up (or rather, Alfred since heâd be picking up the phone) and ask for his help.
And then, of course, Batman uses the power of detective skills (and money) to find his son and also maybe buy the Titans new work out equipment??
idk thats what I think would happen! I hope I answered your question well enough
You did. Thank you.Â
Can I ask you new âwhat ifâ questions?
@tvip11-fics
tvip11:
sure!
Teen Titans (2003) Episode Sixteen AU Questions: If Robin quickly explained to Terra that he found out about her lack of control in her powers on his own and the Boy Wonder and Beast Boy were able to convinced the blonde to stay as a member of their team (and even promising Terra that theyâll help her control her powers), what would the other Titansâ reactions be to finding out about their newest recruitâs secret?
Would Terraâs permanent stay at Titans Tower result in Slade finding another potential apprentice? And would Terra and Beast Boy hook up during Season Two?
@tvip11-fics
@frostbite883 I think everybody would accept her, even Raven. As for Slade getting a new apprentice, I totally think that Rose would show up around this time and maybe Red X (who I headcanon to be Jason Todd) would join in too. And I'm a BBTerra shipper (its one of my childhood favs) so yeah, there would be some major flirting going on.

.icon
A/N: A drabble about just-starting-to-be-Batman!Bruce and some cookies. Named icon after the Jaden Smith bop.
                        i am just icon living
Bruce Wayne is currently bleeding on the floor of Wayne Manor, one hand pressing on the wound and the other stuffed into a package of Elmer fudge cookies. He doesn't even like the damn things; they belong to Alfred, but he's losing blood- fast -so food is supposed to help with that.
He thinks. He really can't think right now; his adrenaline is still high and the gunshot has left a frustrating ringing in his ear.
Bruce swallows the disgusting fudge cookie, the dry snack assaulting his throat. Who the fuck made these? He looks at the package. Damn Elves. They don't even eat cookies. They probably eat...dirt or some shit.
Bruce presses his forehead against the cold tile, squeezing his eyes shut. He takes a few deep breaths in an attempt to ready himself to look at the wound.
He moves his hand and looks down. Blood spills out. He puts his hand back.
He grabs another cookie and takes a bite. "Fuck," he mumbles, crumbs flying out his mouth.
He can hear faint footsteps through all the ringing and pounding in his head. He closes his eyes as the kitchen light is turned on.
"Master Wayne."
"Hey."
Alfred sighs. "Hey."
"Is there a lot of blood everywhere?"
Alfred looks down at the puddle of blood underneath his feet. His bunny slippers are drenched in it. He nods.
Bruce groans. "Am I going to die?"
"No, I won't let that happen." Alfred bends down to pick Bruce up, careful not to jostle him too much. If he can just get him to the couch-.
"Alfred?"
"Yes?"
"Do you think this was a mistake? This whole...vigilante thing?"
Alfred bites his tongue. Of course he thought it was stupid. He thought it was a lot of things; mainly a reckless and poorly thought out attempt to bring back peace to a city that didn't know the definition.
Since Gotham was born it was home to gangbangers, bootleggers, murderers, and madmen. Nothing would change that. Gotham was, and is, a dark city.
But, this means something to Bruce; Alfred can see that when he watches him read the crime reports and tap into police scanners. There's a reason behind all this foolishness, and when Bruce is ready, he'll tell him that reason. But right now, Alfred just had to support him.
And stop him from bleeding all over the place.
"No, it's not a mistake."
"Are you sure?" he asks, his voice breaking a bit.
"I'm as sure as I'll ever be." Alfred slings Bruce's arm around his shoulders and puts a tight grip on his waist. "And, Master Wayne?"
"Yes?"
"Don't ever eat my cookies again."
"Okay."
A/N: My blog turned 2! Woo! This is a Bubbline College AU
Warning: Language
"Don't try and tell me you think this is actually fun," says Marceline as she scans Bonnibel's expression. It's a strange mixture of "I'm gonna puke" and "Fuck off" with a hint of "Help me, I'm an overachiever that never learned how to properly socialize".
"You look like you're about to die." Marceline has to keep her cup in front of her mouth to hide her smile.
Bonnibel beats down the snarl that threatens to appear on her face (an expression that would most definitely jeopardize her nice girl facade) and tries to give her a smile. "I'm....I'm fine," she struggles to get out.
"You're killing that cup," notes Marceline and Bonnibel loosens her iron grip, the plastic crinkling loudly as a result.
But she loosens it too much and Jamba juice- which was just vodka and pineapple and maybe kool-aid? -goes all over the floor, Marceline's jeans and Bonnibel's dress.
"Shit," she hisses before looking around frantically for paper towels. "Marceline, I'm so sorry." She grabs a few tissues from a nearby tissue box and starts dabbing Marceline's legs. "I-I just-."
Marceline can't hide her smile anymore and starts to giggle, "It's fine, it's good."
Bonnibel stops. "Do you think this is funny?" she practically whispers, her voice barely cutting through the loud music.
Marceline notices the change in her expression. "What?"
She hesitates a bit. "Do...Do you think this is funny?" A bit of ire begins to fill her mouth as the huge, stupid organ she calls a brain starts to go into overtime.
Marceline did think this was funny, she thought to herself, She always liked seeing me make a complete fool of myself.
"Bonnie," says Marceline with something some would consider her own brand of softness. "No. Why would you think that?"
"You're always laughing at me like, like I'm some sort of idiot."
Marceline sputters, "Because you are an idiot!" , but then realizes how bad that sounds aloud once it leaves her mouth.
Bonnibel huffs and throws the tissues in her face. 'Then clean up that piss juice yourself."
She stalks off, past the drunken partygoers and off into the night, ignoring Marceline's frantic calls.
She digs into her purse, fingers fumbling around until her pink acrylics taps against her keychain. She pulls out her keys as she tries to find her car in the sea of cars that surround the House.
She finally found her car narrowly in between an annoyingly decked out Camaro and an old pick-up truck. She squeezes in between the two cars and manages to get in without a scratch and starts her car.
The radio starts playing softly as she rests her head in her hands. Why, why, why did she even accept Marcelineâs invitation? Just âcause she was wearing a cute bodysuit with no bra?! Nipples shouldnât cloud judgment!
Bonnibel jumps as her phone starts to ring. Marcelineâs photo graces the screen; a cute selfie that Marceline had taken when she swiped the phone from Bonnibelâs hands one day in the cafeteria.
Bonnibel huffs with annoyance but answers anyway. âWhat?â
âIâm sorry, I didnât mean to laugh.â Bonnibel can hear crunching in the background, as if Marceline was outside. âI justâŚI just thought it was cute, not funny.â
âWhat? The fact that I was stressed from being out of my element?â
âNo, no, the fact that you cameâŚit wasâŚcute. It was sweet of you to try and put up a front just because I invited you.â Bonnibel can hear Marceline readjust her phone. â...I didnât think you would come. I just asked because, yâknow, you rarely come out of your dorm and since LSP was gonna be here, I knew youâd be spending the night alone.â
Marceline huffs. âI didnât want you to be alone.â
Bonnibel blinks. âOh.â
âIâŚ.I figured youâd have fun cause, yâknow, itâs a party with free drinks and a good DJ but I guess itâs not really yourâŚthing.â
Bonnibel sighs. ââŚ.thanks. Thanks for trying to get me out of my room but I donât think Iâm gonna stay.â
Thereâs a pause with more crunching. Bonnibel tries not to think about how cold she must be outside with just a bralette and ripped jeans on. âOhâŚokay. I mean, if you wanna leave thatâs-thatâs fine, I just thought-.â
âThought what?â
âYouâd want to spend more time together.â
Bonnibel swallows roughly. âTogether?â
âIf youâre still mad I totally understand, I just wanted to hang out some more tonight.â Thereâs another pause. âI really like spending time with you.â
âR-Really?â
âYeah.â
Bonnibel smiles. âDo you wanna get in my car?â
âYes, please, Jesus! Itâs fucking cold out here!â Marceline chuckles. âIâll meet you at the front of the house.â
Bonnibel puts the car in drive. âAlright. I hope you like McDonald's.â
âSweet. Iâm getting a 10 piece.â
You donât like him. You swear you donât. But itâs hard to look away from him when the light hits him at just the right angle and his cheekbones look like a fucking glazed donut. You being to wonder if the infamous Damian Wayne wears highlighter. He makes a great subject when it comes to off-task doodling in class. He has hard lines in his face (probably from all the frowning he does) and a sharp jawline, but his eyes are round and the softest shade of green you can imagine, yet still intense enough to death stare you into an oblivion. Your pencil brushes across the page with quick strokes as you try to catch every detail before he moves again. The bridge of his nose when his face is down is always tricky for you. If only you could-. Your friend nudges you and you jump in surprise. âStop staring. Youâll make it obvious,â they giggle. You grit your teeth together and throw down your pencil in frustration. âI donât like him. Heâs just-.â âIncredibly sexy?â your friend finishes for you. You shake your head. âHeâs justâŚ..ugh, whatâs a better word for horrifyingly beautiful?â âThat would be âhe makes me hot all over and I hate itâ,â they tease before bursting into a fit of giggles. You roll your eyes. âWhatever. Thatâs not even a word, thatâs a sentence.â âThen would sublime be better?â His deep voice floats through the air, sounding almost like his father but not quite; thereâs a strange mixture of BlĂźdhaven and an accent you canât quite place in there. âE-Excuse me?â you struggle to get out as you feel heat rise to your cheeks. âSublime,â says Damian again, this time a bit slower. âOr would you rather divine?â You gulp. âSublimeâŚ.sublime is fine.â He gives you something thatâs almost a smile but not quite (that signature Wayne magazine smile, the one that graces the cover of GQ almost twice a year) before walking away. Your friend is full blown cackling now, almost knocking her water bottle in the process. You let out a huff and pick up your pencil, scratching out his face in the margins of your paper.
.elevator music
A/N: The music from Romeo + Juliet is so powerful, and Iâve been listening to Balcony Scene all night, so hereâs this, a drabble partly inspired by my really old aesthetic post. I was originally writing AquaBat porn, but that didnât fit the mood of the music lol.
âHave I seen you before?â
Dipper turns to avoid her royal gaze, red blush giving away all his secrets. He hopesÂÂÂÂâ prays â that sheâs not quick enough to notice such a drastic change in his demeanor. âN-No! Weâve just met!â
Pacifica narrows her eyes. âBut your face looks so familiarâŚâ She shakes her head. âI swear-.â
Dipper laughs. âYou may be thinking of my sister, Mabel!â Dipper latches onto his unsuspecting twin, who lets out a yelp of surprise as sheâs pulled away from the cute blacksmith. âWeâre twins so we have similar facial features and whatnot.â
âDipper, what is your-?!â She locks eyes with the princess and her eyes grow wide with knowing shock. âOh~. Hello, Pacifica. I-I believe weâve met before. At the hat shop, remember?â
Mabel manages to trap the princess into a useless conversation about the pros and cons of feathered hats, and Dipper uses this as his chance to escape, expect, it isnât really an escape because his Grunkle stops him before he can even get a good three feet away.
Stan glares at the boy. âWhat was that?â
âWhat was what?â
âDonât play dumb with me,â growls Stan. âWhat was that?â
Dipper gulps. âI-I was just nervous-.â
âNervous my ass. Something happened between you two, didnât it?â
And as Dipper gets stared down by his, admittedly, favorite Grunkle, he thinks back to that night. Surrounded by roses and old marble worth more than his own life, he had managed to kiss the princess again and again; his own common sense replaced by the fever of first love. Sweet smiles and gasps of breath were exchanged as they almost got caught in the garden, which was then accompanied by a childish game of hide and seek with the guards as they tried to avoid being caught.
But then the clock struck twelve and the party ended, and yet Dipper is still stuck with the same feelings that he had three days ago. He figured sheâd forgotten that night altogether; she must kiss dukes and princes all the time. But she almost recognized him, so maybeâŚ
âNothing,â says Dipper. âI avoided her, just like you told me too.â
Stan narrows his eyes and grumbles something under his breath. âFine,â he says. âBut if I find out youâre lying-.â
âWhy would I lie to you, Grunkle Stan?â
âBecause youâre a teenager. Thatâs what teenagers do.â
"The story, Kent."
Lois looms over his desk with that eerie sense of anger and disappointment that usually only mothers can pull off. Her newly dyed hair fits her face quite nicely, and Clark really liked the whole creamy brown look that she's going for today, but something in his head told him that now was not the time for compliments.Â
"You were supposed to have that Saint James article on Perry's desk by 8 a.m. this morning." She took a quick look at her watch. "It is now 12 p.m."Â
"S-Sorry, Lane." Clark rubbed the back of his neck; some of the charred skin from last night brushes against his fingertips. He still hadn't fully healed; why the hell wasn't he fully healed? "I was busy." Â
"Busy?"Â
 "With...things."Â
"Things?" she sneered. "So things are more important than your job?"
"No, no," Clark fumbled, "That's not what I meant at all!"Â
"Then prove it to me." Her perfectly manicured nails tapped against her mug, the metallic and glittery arrow on the front shining in the sunlight. "Put that report on my desk in twenty minutes," she said, her icy tone practically freezing the room.Â
She turns and walks away, heels clicking against the tile floor. Clark gulps and shouts after her, "B-By the way, I like your outfit!"Â
 "19, Kent!"
I just wanna apologize for not writing like Iâm supposed to/want to. College is so hard and Iâm tired all the time I hate it T.T
I have lots of wips on my computer but literally no time to finish them. I have lots of community service events coming up and finals are two weeks away. I hope that sometime this week Iâll be able to find time to write something, even if itâs a drabble or oneshot.
Iâm so sorry you guys! Take care! xoxo
âWhy do you know how to make pasta?â you ask as you curl a noddle around your fork.
Jason looks at you. âAm I not supposed to be able to cook?â
âNo, no,â you tell your neighbor before sliding the fork into your mouth. âItâs justâŚyou donât seem like the type.â
You havenât known Jason for long, but you did know that he wasnât home often, he rarely spoke, and that apparently, he can make homemade pasta.
Jason leans against the counter, a smirk on his face. âSo, whatâs the type of person that makes pasta?â
You think for a moment. âUhâŚ.well, ItalianâŚgrandma-y, maybe grandpa-y.â
He laughs for the first time around you, and it soundsâŚnice. Deep, hearty and a bit harsh, as if he hadnât made the sound in a long time. âSo, Iâm old?â
âNo, no, thatâs not what Iâm saying,â you protest between giggles. âIâm just saying thatâs what I imagine when Iâm sitting in a restaurant and waiting for my pasta.â
Jason smiles at you but falls silent. Youâve noticed heâs not very good at conversation, so you often take over. âWhat else do you know how to make?â you ask as you spin around on the barstool.
He thinks for a bit, his mouth twitching slightly as he tries to search through his brain. âUhâŚpancakesâŚ.stir-fry, cake, spaghetti, tuna melts-.â
You stop spinning. âTuna melts?â you interrupt. âTell me how you make a tuna melt.â
âUh, you make some tuna salad and put it on some bread with cheese, like cheddar or whatever, and you justâŚyâknow, bake it.â
âSounds tasty,â you say. âCan you make me a tuna melt sometime?â
And for some reason, a slight blush appears on his face and the sight of it makes you want to smile. You hold it back though, for his sake and yours. âS-Sure. I can make you a tuna melt.â
A/N: Idk why Iâm so into Brickercup right now, but I am. College AU. Warning: Language
He sneaks up behind her in the library, red eyes practically boring a hole into her head. âIs that my shirt?â
Buttercup lets out a yelp of surprise, getting shushed as a result. âBrick! You almost scared the crap outta me!â
Brick narrows his eyes. âIs that my shirt?â
Buttercup looks down at the red button-down flannel hanging loosely off her frame. She may have a lot of muscle, but Brick was huge compared to her. If she wasnât so tall, she couldâve worn it as a dress.
She grips her tumbler of coffee tightly, throwing a glare his way. âMaybe so. Why?â
âWhy? I thought this,â Brick points back and forth between them, âwas supposed to be a secret, BC.â
âOkay, first of all, there is no this.â She readjusts the strap of her tote. She has a feeling sheâs going to late for her next class. Like her older sister, Brick has a knack from super long, unnecessary lectures. âWhat youâre referring to was our very stupid one night and afternoon stand that no one but the bitchy redheaded brat that caught us knows about. And second of all, if you leave your shit, of course Iâm gonna take it.â
Brick pinches the bridge of his nose and tries to refrain from yelling. âWell, if you keep wearing my stuff, people are going to start asking questions.â
âAnd Iâll tell them fuck off.â
âBC.â
âWhat?â she whispers fiercely. âEveryone here thinks youâre banging my sister anyways, so me saying fuck off isnât hurting anything or anybody.â
Brick huffs and throws his hands in surrender. âFine, whatever. Keep wearing the damn shirt! Just donât come crying to me when people start bugging you,â he says before stalking away.
Buttercup rolls her eyes and starts to gather her stuff. âThat jerk doesnât know what heâs talking about.â
âButtercup?!â
Buttercup looks up only to see Bubblesâ and Boomerâs shocked faces looking at her from across the library.
âAre you and Brick a thing?!â shout-whispers Boomer.
A/N: I wrote this at like 3 am and when I woke up and re-read it I couldnât stop laughing so here ya go.
Bruce looked over the new Titans, arms crossed over his chest. They looked at up at him, some with awe, others fear, as he continued on. "This weekend, we will be honoring the newly instated Titans retreat by traveling to a discrete location for team bonding. There will be no technology, so no phones, no tablets, and no communicators." Kid Flash groaned. "Are you serious?" Bruce narrowed his eyes. "Very. The only people you need to communicate with besides your team are me and Mother Nature." "And Mother Nature's brother," said Grayson, all decked out in his boy scouts outfit which was on top of his suit (and looked stupid, but Bruce wasnât going to say that to his face). "Brother Nature. Aka me." Bruce opened his mouth to speak, but all that came out was the silence of betrayal. They had agreed in the kitchen over blueberry pancakes that if Grayson was allowed to wear his stupid uniform, that he wouldn't say it. Bruce even reminded him in jet on the way here that he shouldn't say it. And now, look at him, wearing the scout outfit of a liar and trying to hold back laughter. Barry chimed in, failing to hide his smile. "And I'm Cousin Nature-." Bruce cut him off. "No one here is related to Mother Nature." "I am," said Diana. "Except for Wonder Woman."
