on average an adult has about 4.5-5.5 liters of blood circulating in their body. a female mosquito, when completely full, can hold up to 0.001-0.01 milliliters of blood in their abdomen depending on the species. if we take the average of both (5 liters & 0.0055 milliliters), it would take around 909,090 mosquitos to equal the amount of blood in a single human. although there isnt an exact number of the entirety of the mosquito population, we can use fermi estimation. there is about 57 million square miles of total land area on earth, while say 50 million square miles are habitable for mosquitos. with a rough of estimate of 1 mosquito per 50 square feet (overestimate due to area and time of year). after multiplying the numbers and fixing the units, there is a rough estimated 70 quadrillion mosquitos. theoretically, if a vampire lived in a mosquito dense area, such as brazil, indonesia, malaysia, thailand, etc, and could sustainably hunt around a million mosquitos to fill themselves every time they needed to feed, there would be enough mosquitos to survive on due to their large population and fast reproduction.

Look, the only way I can buy the Cullens deciding to continually attend high school is if they decided to experience every high school trope in the book before they go to college for the next 100 years. Like, they did the whole “hipster untouchable cool kids” in Bella’s season, but several years before Bella came to town they had been the goth group at school. Next they decide to be obnoxious theater kids for however many years it takes for Jasper to cultivate his stage presence, etc.

When they leave Forks Charlie give him one with an old police patch stitched onto it, The pack give him one they tried to weave themselves, Seth's part of it is the neatest, his favourite scarf is part of a shawl his mother used to wear, he keeps it in the back of his closet so it doesn't get damaged

Vampire hair isn't actually hair, its a grouping of needle like barbs that mimics the hair they had in life, each barb can secret venom in order to mildly drug prey to dull their fear response, generally the thirstier a vampire the more shiny and 'lifelike' their hair in order to attract prey, it's why they can't really grow it out or drastically change it

All the Cullens know how to knit and they knit everything from hats and scarfs to sweaters and blankets, donating them to the hospital's Carlisle works in, as well as all the homeless shelters in the area, you can track the Cullen's movements by the sudden jump in knitwear in cloudy areas

Tbh one of my fav Jasper headcanons is Jasper is at least half Mexican and the reason he was able to climb to major so easily is the rest of the white texans wanted him dead aka "we'll make the the kid a major and send him off to get killed and he won't be our problem anymore
