i was thinkng about the concept of how sapient bug people would socialize and be affectionate i guess. as a huge generalization, insects rely heavily on scent/taste and touch so i figured for the touch component could involve gentle use of mandibles to groom each other.

some species of bees actually Do engage in social grooming (primarily to clean areas that a bee cant reach on its own) so i figure if bees were weird bee-people it would have a more social function so. heres some bee ladies saying hi to each other
