I’m not a dedicated fan of Exo, so I don’t 100% know what kind of troubles they went through. But I’m a very dedicated fan of TVXQ long before the trio lawsuit so rest assured I know what troubles they had, and this is the same excuse Sejong Lawyers came up to argue their case in front of Judges.

So, again I ask, what kind of “human rights” they’re denied of?

TVXQ members can eat, sleep, have holidays, date, anything we normal people do just fine. Maybe you’re just a teen who haven’t go through the responsibility to work just like what oppars and adult fans like me have to go through. But lack of sleep, long hours of work, vatigue, some sickness due to workload are just small sacrifices for bigger dream waiting.

I work in a legal department for a big company, one of the most stressful jobs you can ever imagine. It’s not weird for me to work 16 hours per day to read all the legal documents or for my boss to deny me holidays when I have to draft an agreement in a very short time. I was admitted into hospital once because I forgot to eat due to my workload. That’s just the way real world is but I never complain because I know this is the way to make money.

Same like oppars. They work so hard because that’s the way to make money. But let’s compare my salary with oppars’ salary. In 2013, Yunho earned at least US$ 6 million in a year. With same (even more) workload than him, my salary is just as maximum as US$ 200.000 per year. I won’t ever reach close to his earning if I don’t become a business tycoon in the future.

Do you see now why it’s no wonder those idols work very hard despite all of above sacrifices to achieve their dreams?

Now you say it’s about human rights, SM overworks oppars. But my beloved three oppars are still been overworked in their new agency? My JJ oppar even had to attend fanmeet with body temperature as high as 40°C and couldn’t talk at all due to inflammation. So wtf is this human rights bullshit?

The same with Kris. He’ll be just as (even more) overworked when he signs a contract with a new agency in China and works as actor, something he will definitely do sooner or later.

There is so much dramas going in the fandom and it's impossible for one not to be aware of it. This side blaming that side and etc. So let me offer a new type of fandoming called the "Boat Paddling".
