The headcanon that Ryland Grace is aroace is so important to me. Because the respresentation of his relationship with Rocky being the most important relationship in his life is SO meaningful.

Like that’s just his buddy. His little guy. A friend, and that’s ENOUGH for him. It’s the most meaningful relationship he has and will have and he’s perfectly content with it

Gonna cry over how much crying Ryland does. And for all the reasons he cries. Idk that I've ever seen a movie where a guy cries because he's:

Sad/upset

Betrayed

Terrified

Angry

Hurt

Lonely

Joyous

Relieved

Like holy shit that's such a spectrum of emotions! And crying can happen due to any of them! And Ryland cries so much! And it's never mentioned by the characters that witness him crying. Not to ridicule or demean or anything.

Idk that's just. Really special and important to me as someone who cries when experiencing any sort of intense emotion.
