I'm going to over analyze Mr. Palmer's design a bit, I had to draw him recently and noticed a few things.
His hair is wild yet its combed thoroughly with a streak of unnatural silver, which typically indicates stress or something mystical.
There's an insane amount of shading around his eyes, not just eye bags, it actually spreads above them, like there's something under his skin. He has no visible iris and his eyes are perpetually shaded.
He's very well sculpted, and handsome in a way that every generic upper-middleclass salaryman is.
His coat is over his shoulders despite the fact its raning and is the only part of his clothing that looks like it would actually fit him, since his suit is almost stretched taught over his body.
HIs scarf is loosely draped over his shoulders rather than wrapped around his neck and I just noticed this fucking psychopath's socks, tie and scarf all match.
Might be a reach, but his hands aren't delicate, they're kind of rough looking. He uses his hands, he's not just a deskworker.
TL;DR His hair being so carefully brushed yet half breaks out, his clothing is too tight just make me think he's barely contained. His clothes are super carefully coordinated… but they don't fit correctly. That's fascinating to me, he can definitely afford a new wardrobe… He's handsome in such an average way that makes me feel like he's just a tinge fake. He's wearing a persona.
