I feel so helpless.Thinking about all my friends in the US, my LGBT,   black, latino, Asian and Muslim friends, young Americans, all women  feeling distressed and scared, feeling so deeply insulted. I just want  to tell you that the rest of the world knows you tried hard. We  understand how it got down to this. I KNOW you will take care of the  most vulnerable, and keep fighting against bullies, for progress, and for a better America. My trust in you has never been stronger. I send you all my love

FUN FACT…

The first time John Romita ever drew Spider-Man was in a Daredevil comic. [Daredevil #16]

The first time Frank Miller ever drew Daredevil was in a Spider-Man comic. [Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #27]

Another layer of coincidence is that in both cases, the two heroes teamed up to battle the D-List villain Masked Marauder.

An Execution.  A Mistake? 

There is no mistaking the quality of this one shot.  If you are enjoying Civil War II, or if you’re not enjoying Civil War II, but feel compelled to look at the event from a more intimate perspective, I would check this out. 

I’d call it required reading for court-room drama fans, and hardcore DD or Hawkeye fans.  You won’t be disappointed.

Hey, Kid! 

I really love how Brian Michael Bendis  puts all his little babies in each other’s books.  We’ve got Goldballs, Jessica Jones and his latest, Iron Man all featured in this series.  I’ll admit I’ve become very fond of Bendis’s Tony Stark, so for me, this appearance was delightful.

Spider-Bike 

Just a bit of Spider-Woman bike & helmet appreciation... I was pretty excited when we first saw Jess on the bike in the new costume and thought it would play a bigger role in the series... so I got excited for this little come-back. 

I’m a huge fan of Jess’s update look and I love the coordination of the logo design between her helmet and her jacket.  I’ve seen some killer Spider-Woman cosplay (I’m dreaming of building the jacket for myself...) but I think I would be totally floored if someone incorporated this helmet.
