the Mystery Shack inadvertently becomes a known safe spot for queer ppl, and when Wendy offhandly mentions this to Stan, he very advertently adds a new attraction next to the shack: Drag Racing - Watch and bet on local drag queens and kings competing in actual drag races!

back in 2013 i would go on a roleplaying website and i had a group of friends there who all rped gravity falls stuff and there was this dude who was our designated soos and he was the shit. anyway his profile disappeared one day out of nowhere and we all mourned him until he randomly came back a month later and we were all like soos!!! what happened dude where did you go! and he was like sorry dudes i was in jail

I like the implication that, in the show, Stan really is perfectly capable of using Real People Swears. Like, he isn’t cosmically constrained by the reality of existing in a kids’ tv show. Instead, for some reason he decided that despite exposing the twins to everything from counterfeiting money to lying to federal agents to a Literal Actual Cosmic Demon God Thing, he’s going to be a good influence in one (1) specific arena and not swear in front of the kids. Like buddy I think it might be too late to pretend to be a responsible adult. The least you can do is teach Dipper every single swear word you know. He deserves it.
