noooooooooo ... this sucks :Cwell he only reposted the naruto CN crossover, i’m still kinda mad he’s getting a lot of notes out of it, but at the same time, it’s just fanart. i’d be more mad if he stole my original art. Hi, I'm 24 and from the USA. I've heard that in France it's harder for older students to start again in a new field. Is it possible to get into Gobelins at my age for the four year program that students fresh out of high school are aiming for? I know their are further education programs for international students who already have an animation degree...but that doesn't apply to me right now.

Hi! I'm an american high school student and I really want to apply for Gobelins but from what I've heard, it's one of the toughest exams for an animation school so i was just wondering if there's a way you can take me through the steps? And I was looking through the Gobelins tumblr and I'm so confused because they were mentioning a competition and some book? My french isn't very good and I can only pick up bits and pieces, if you can, can you please explain it to me?

How are you so good at art?! Can you tell me your ways *lays down on my stomach and props my head up with my hands, looking up at you with puppy dog eyes*

You are the cutest anon, and I wish I could hold you in my arms and dress you in little puppy dresses <3TBH, I wanted to draw a mini autobiographical comic to answer this ask, because drawing is a lot about motivation. what I mean by that is, I never won any art contest I participated in. I’ve always hung out, on forum or irl, with people that were much better at art than I am. My parents didn’t really want me to be an artists either,and wanted me to pursue a scientific career. Once, a guy friend said girls weren’t as good as guys concerning art. When I got accepted in Gobelins, someone publicly said on his blog I didn’t deserve to attend the school because I wasn’t good enough. Someone else accused me of copying his drawings (when I actually didn’t). During a portfolio review session, one guy told me my animal drawings and my life drawings were a joke.But hey, I never gave up, and it always kept me motivated to push forward and keep drawing and get better. So no matter how many times people will try to bring you down, you need to find the passion and motivation to belive in yourself, and keep doing what you love :)

I'm thinking about attending Gobelins, and I couldn't find much of informations on the internet. I'd really be happy if you could answer my question; Do you know anything about international student applies? I guessed that we are probably supposed to take some exams to show our level on French, am i right? Also do you recommend Gobelins? Thanks.

check out all of the characters stand alone on my fanart tumblr : http://veestrainingcamp.tumblr.com/ So I’ve been slowly working on this idea for 6 months hahah.. I was like “oh CARTOON NETWORK SHIPPUDEN ! that sounds cool. I’ll just make a lineup with (almost) every CN franchise and dress them as Naruto characters”. It makes no sense haha, but I had a lot of fun, and it taught me a lot as an artist to work with all these different styles. I looked up prices to print out posters, and I found out I could print OK quality A2 size (33”x23”) and sell them for like 9$ (not including shipping). Would you be into that ? you should PM me if peeps are interested I’d totally do that :)
