Competition Prep - Bench Session 3
My appetite wasn't so great this morning so had to haul most of my breakfast around with me today to actually finish it. I usually am carrying around 2 large lunch boxes, a kilo tub of peanut butter, some bananas, and a shaker bottle or 2 every day now in order to consume enough throughout the day. Pacing is key I've found. I started with squatting doubles, I tried to focus on dialing in the form and staying explosive with the belt. I feel like I've grasped how to get air properly and use the belt to it's fullest during the squat now. These all were pretty explosive on the way up and felt good. Benching went well, I had a bit of form breakdown in the third and second to last sets but that was mainly through fatigue, I rested enough to make the last set one of the best technically speaking. I added floor press for assistance to overload my triceps my goal with it would be to hit 105/110 comfortably with it by the end of prep.
