Friends Find Out fic idea Shane and Ilya get HAMMERED at the same bar after a Metros vs Raiders game. It's not something either of them plan on and it's definitely a sight to see-- especially for their friends Marleau/JJ & Hayden. It's bizarre to see the two hockey rivals getting along, although everyone believes it to be due to the amount of alcohol the two have consumed through the night. It's funny until they start trying to get them home. Shane and Ilya become like a pair of traumatized, bonded kittens. They won't let go of each other, refusing to leave the other to make it home. Demanding they be taken together.

Eventually their friends carpool in Hayden's SUV but even that comes with trouble, Ilya insisting he stay the night at Shane's rather than the hotel. Shane's on board with the sleepover idea and before they can even put a stop to it, Ilya and Shane are making it inside Shane's house when the car parks. The hopes of ushering Ilya out of Shane's home are crushed when Ilya lands on the couch, looking right fucking at home and dragging Shane to sit down with him.

The guys look at each other at a loss for what to do-- knowing their friends are going to be embarrassed knowing how touchy they've been with their sworn enemy. Shane and Ilya are demanding the others leave now they're home but their friends are refusing. The pair grow more and more agitated before Shane slurs out, "fine, fuck it" and then starts mauling Ilya on the couch. It's a devouring, sloppy kiss. The two don't care for the audience they have-- they seem to be doing it out of spite because of their friends not leaving like they asked. When they start fumbling for each other's shirts that's when their friends snap out of their shock and pull them away from each other, thinking it's just drunken mistakes.

There's an agreement this is something they'll all have to keep secret, especially when it seems that Ilya and Shane don't recall anything from last night when they wake up in the morning-- Ilya waking in his hotel room with Marley, Shane in his house with Hayden and JJ.

thinking about mack being obsessed with will’s glasses. he starts hiding will’s contacts so he has to wear them. he does the middle school flirting thing where he steals the glasses to try on and asks will how he looks. he makes note of where will puts them down so he can get them when will inevitably forgets.

but then gabe fucking perreault tells will he looks “sexy as hell” with the whole messy-blond-curls-and-glasses look, and will’s contacts suddenly mysteriously reappear whenever he’s about to leave the house.

My Shane is an enabler. He’s gonna roll his eyes and tell ilya to fuck himself, but he loves that shit. He’s icing Ilya injuries after a fight barely hiding the fact that he found it funny. He’s providing information for chirps. He’s joining in on the fun cause he loves his husband.
