I remembered your Hazbin swap au, Has-been Hotel, reread it and I loved it as much as I remembered
How you have the characters act is amazing. There is also a lot to look forward to in the plot and to see how things are changed and what remains the same, how the familiar can be twisted yet remain recognizable.
Are Cherri and Angel still friends?
I read your note that in this au, Alastor isn't bound by a deal. With the reveal in season 2 that it was Rosie that owned Alastor, would this have any impact on their relationship/connection in this au?
I remember that someone commented an idea of Vox with a conspiracy string board and that I found it hilarious, but I can't find it or really remember how you responded. With how much Vox in Canon revolves around Alastor, how different is Vox in this au since Alastor is keeping both the Radio Demon and Overlord Slayer identities anonymous?
There was a line in the fic that Lilith still disappeared 7 years prior, Lucifer is a recluse, and Charlie is more involved with the Sinners. Are there any changes to Lucifer or does it remain the same?
Lmao it has been a while but I'll answer some questions cuz why not.
Cherri and Angel used to be friends in this AU. They didn't have a big falling out, they just stopped interacting much because of Angel's job with Valentino. They think the other don't care about them anymore, in a "they're just passing by" way. They still think of each other very fondly.
Alastor isn't particularly familiar or buddy buddy with any Overlord so he doesn't know Rosie personally. Charlie knows her, however, since she sneaks into Overlord meetings to pitch her ideas about improving Pentagram City, so Rosie definitely knows her and is fond of her. No one knows, not even Charlie herself, if she has an ultierior motive about it. The other Overlords don't care for Charlie, but Carmilla and Zestial respect her enough to let her speak during the meetings, and they don't really want to muddy the waters even more by insulting her or laughing at her during it. No one tells Charlie when the meetings happen, she just get lucky visiting, and even lucky that the Vees aren't around when she does. Husk isn't interested in the Overlord meetings, he rarely goes, so he hasn't had the chance to see Charlie in one.
Vox is obsessed with the Radio Demon. He wants him so bad to be in his team. They would be powerful, having different forms of medias working together. But the Radio Demon was very public when it came to his rejection, so everyone in Hell knows what happened when he offered a partnership. Vox still hasn't stopped trying, however, which lead to Alastor making his radios stop working whenever Voc walks by so he can't even hear the music or the news he was playing.
Lucifer relatively stays the same, but he is a tad more involved with Charlie's life in a "handing the torch" kind of way. With Lilith gone, Charlie was quick to step up as the public figure and Lucifer let her. Because she was more willing to do her duties, Lucifer is more paranoid about it, offering to do meetings for her instead, to which she insists she can do it herself, so it's a reverse!! Instead of Charlie asking Lucifer for favors, its Lucifer asking Charlie if she would be fine doing it herself and he can take over anytime if she feels like she couldn't handle things.
And I'm really glad you're liking the story so far!! Even though I haven't really touched it in a while, college is beating my ass right now.
