Usually I don't mess with aus, hadn't since my early Undertale days. But I guess I just enjoy ramb in every flavor. Flavour

∅ - He isn't opposed to this worlds violence and malice, nor is he above it himself. That's just the way this world works and he's just trying to survive. For some reason.

∅ - But unlike some other people, he doesn't oppose goodness and faith. if it's coming from someone he respects or cares about he'll probably lightly advise them to think harder and consider reality and their options. But if it's someone he doesn't particularly care for, he'll just stare in silence. Something deep deep within him, cold and dormant, aching to support.

∅ - GENUINELY despises tenna, not just dislikes him. He even tried killing him a couple of times. it's never methodical or thought out, just in the spur of the moment if he got especially pissed.

∅ - Tenna despises him right back, but keeps him around to handle TV world's already super janky and dangerous electricity. Tenna doesn't really value the lives of any of his employees, but he values rambs the least. Also, he knows ramb will never manage to kill him, and finds his attempts pathetically amusing.

∅ - Just being around ramb makes tenna grow larger, feeling superior to him instinctively manifesting physically. Ramb is sick of it

∅ - Him and tenna are like a fight between someone using a knife, and someone holding a gun. Unbalanced and impossible to win.

∅ - Ramb actually used to be somewhat of a fighter for justice. Even in the bleak world of defernull there are still the few souls who believe in good. But somewhere along the way ramb lost that part of himself, or it got buried deep within him, casted in stone, like the rest of what makes him himself. Nowadays he just acts out of pettiness and hurt.

∅ - The mental is very ill and he does nothing about it, only berating himself for being weak enough to still let things get to him even as an adult.

∅ - Even though life in TV world is absolute hell for ramb, it was significantly worse in cyber world for the lonely homeless plug. Days, weeks without food, terrible weather conditions he had no shelter from, beatings he couldn't protect himself from, without a single soul caring enough to just glance his way.

Kris was the very first person who paid him any mind.

∅ - Tv world is terrible to live in. but he has a flat, even though it's falling apart. He gets to eat every day, even if it's slop. He still gets beaten, but now he can protect himself. And even if no one looks his way, he now has the memory of his lightner doing that once, a long time ago.

∅ - That makes ramb one of the only fully honest allies in the game- while everyone else is either an active threat or hustling you, rare are the darkners who're truly looking out for you, even, or actually especially, in your own home.

∅ - But ramb overestimates kris's abilities and capabilities, and ends up accidentally putting them in danger often. Even when he attempts a completely innocent lighthearted activity with them, Kris ends up hurt. Usually he doesn't notice, but if he does he manages to convince himself that it's fine and that they're okay, even if they're clearly not. So he won't have to deal with the uncomfortable thought that he was both wrong about the one thing he believes he knows the best out of anyone here (what's best for Kris), and that he hurt the one person who ever cared about him.

∅ - The tragedy here is that if the player doesn't persue ramb, then Kris is heartbroken over losing one of the only positive connections they could've had with a darkner in their home. One good thing in this mess that they never got to have.

∅ - But if the player does entertain them both, Kris soon finds out how damaging it is for them to stay around ramb. They keep getting hurt both physically and emotionally, betrayed by a person they thought they could trust, again. Without him even seeming to care enough to see the harm he's actually causing and change his ways, instead opting to convince himself that he's in the right and is helping, too cowardly to confront a reality in which he's ever wrong.

∅ - It's not all bad though. He does things that in the long run actually help them. Like offer Kris (and their friends, which he never seems to remember the names of) a place to hide from tenna when he gets... Murdery. It's not a perfect fix though, as they (mostly Susie) want to get out and fight.

∅ - It's important to mention that Ramb never forces you into anything, only gives you the option, the choice of "freedom", its just that it usually ends up unintentionally harming everyone.

What I'm saying is that if the player accepts the offer they get locked in the room. Things like that.

∅ - I talked about him with a friend and he said that ramb could be purposefully worsening his eyesight to protect himself from Tennas subliminal messaging and mind control... I love that....... I bet that would make Tenna 10 times as pissed at him and put ramb under tennas scrutiny more than he ever was... Oh you feel like you can rebel? You feel empowered with your little control?
