Heya! My name is Vyuntspakhkite, but you can call me Vyunt. I'm a minor, and my pronouns are he/it.

This is a personal sideblog for @vyuntspakhkite-l-darling, so if you're interested in hearing about writing fucked up little guys, check it out! Here I'll mostly post about my personal life and any little things I come across that I happen to find interesting.

Just saw an ad for fucking Kellog's cornflakes wherein a shirtless blindfolded man tied to a bed is like "Wait.. are you... eating??" and it pans across the bed to reveal that his partner is, indeed, too distracted to have sex with him bc she is chowing down on corn flakes. Now I've been caught up in wondering whether:

a) John Harvey Kellog would despise this ad; the mere proximity of bondage-play to his brand name and beloved anti-porn flakes is unforgivable

b) John Harvey Kellog would enjoy this ad, because it shows a young woman forsaking the temptations of the flesh in favour of eating a wholesome and nourishing bowl of cornflakes

I’d like to add this photo I took last night in Victoria of the statue of Captain Cook. Though I myself am not indigenous, I 100% agree that these murderers, kidnappers and rapists shouldn’t have huge statues and plaques that decorate them and say how “great” they were.

Here’s another photo of the legislative assembly from yesterday. Later on there were more items, candles and signs at the memorial, as well as a big poster with 1505 painted on it but I didn’t get a picture

I had seen the first picture of the church, but not the second.

I went to a “Cancel Canada Day” event and burst into tears - not because I was surprised to learn of the unmarked graves (survivors told us they were there. Our government pushed it aside, and we let them), but because seeing all the people gathered in mourning drove it home: They. Were. Children.

This is my country’s legacy - and it’s not history. The last schools closed during my lifetime. My Father went to school with students who lived at the local residential school, after it was changed to a boarding house (read: holding centre) for indigenous youth who went to local schools.

They were all children, injured, abused, and killed in my country’s attempt to erase them. I want the world to see this and hold the state accountable to *active* reconciliation> I mean we could at least truly adopt UNDRIP in action instead of words for god’s sake.

Ok while we are talking about treating trans people as humans and not as sexual objects can we talk about assumptions of what genitals we have?

Yeah trans people get the “what’s in your underpants hehe” questions from cishet people all the time but like.. some of y’all also make assumptions while trying to be supportive? Like, I really need y’all to understand that there are trans women with vaginas and trans men with penises. You simply cannot treat all trans women as though they have a girldick and you cannot treat all trans men like they have a boypussy. Gender Affirming Surgery has been around longer than most of you were even a twinkle in your daddy’s eye (literally the 1950s, making bottom surgery 70 years old) and some of you still act like there isn’t a significant portion of trans people who have had it or have a goal to get it.

It’s totally fine to not want to get it/be no-op, but I have also met trans women who have confided with me that they have severe bottom dysphoria but do not want to undergo GAS because they are worried partners will be disappointed by it. And that’s fucking sad. I just feel like the commodification of trans bodies as a fetish has led to this idea that what genitals you have determines if you are trans or not, which is just ridiculous. It’s the same transphobic rhetoric that people use to justify not dating trans people because of “genital preference” when they literally have no clue what genitals a trans woman or man has.

All vaginas are good vaginas, and all penises are good penises. There aren’t more real or more fake genitals, just the ones you have.

Okay even if reassignment surgery WASN'T a thing, you STILL do not get to assume anyone's genitals. Even if you think you know what genitals they have, do not tell someone what to call their own body parts. They know their body better than you. Just sit down and listen or read or learn something from actual trans people instead of going around enforcing a "opposite" binary or some bullshit.

I need perisex people to understand that the 'corrective' surgeries done on intersex children are nothing like bottom surgeries for trans people. Not just because of the lack of consent, but also because it is literally not the same surgery.

Bottom surgeries for trans people are done with the intent to maintain function and sensation in line with what the individual wants, they are functional just as much as they are cosmetic.

IGM on the other hand is purely cosmetic. It is done for the comfort of the parents due to the violent biases against intersex people sterily written into medical protocols. Visibly intersex genitalia is seen as already being faulty and disgusting; therefore anything done to change it would be an improvement, regardless of the side effects.

ChatGPT uses 1-3 bottles of water for cooling for every query you put into it. This is FRESH WATER, which is evaporated and eventually mostly returns to the ocean, effectively removing a lot of it from our already dwindling fresh water supply on the planet. It also consumes 17 THOUSAND TIMES more electricity than the average American home.

The AI boom wastes so much electricity that we are very immediately risking US cities having to have rolling blackouts just to keep up with the energy demands, as early as NEXT YEAR

Gen AI's water usage is projected to hit 6.6 BILLION meters cubed by 2027

More AI use = more data centers = power drain on local cities = gas, electricity, and water utility prices rise because all of our resources are being funneled into a machine that makes garbage
