At first I thought all Spitfire hope was lost when Artemis "met Wally" but then finding out it was all an illusion, I fully plan to fan the nearly non existent flames of Spitfire being alive and well. Alive. And well. Key work: alive. Needless to say, I've been in denial for the last 6 years that Wally is alive and do not intend to give up on this.

See, that's just it: they didn't have to include that scene where Zatanna revealed that it wasn't really Wally. They could have literally made that limbo and Wally real and given true closure. But they chose to reveal that it was all Artemis.

They literally passed up the PERFECT opportunity to confirm Wally was dead and give both us and Artemis closure.

They chose not to.
