Simply, I am not lost but out of place. Welcomed here, yet I only find comfort elsewhere, in a place from which I am exiled. I am a princess by name, though not by birth. This earth is my castle which feels like a prison for it crumbles down all around me. My mother is in despair. My father is missing and deaf to my prayers. My sister cries over her broken heart, result of the cruel nature of a sixteen year old boy. I am bound by my physical to this land of death and waste; meanwhile my heart is free, and my spirit lies in safety in the arms of a Filipino prince, whom I hope to one day call my King. This society has filed me under the tags of depression, anxiety, dyslexia, and schizophrenia to say the least. All around me this earth withers. I am away from my birthplace and still my surroundings are the same. I see little besides death, I see oppression and the urge of the people for justice and freedom. When will we have peace?
