 #can i talk about how much i fucking love the first three episodes of this gorgeous show #can i talk about how it starts with sarah and you don’t know her but your reflex #is to assume that once she’s trapped she’s in trouble #but what i fucking love about this show and why i first fell in love with sarah is that when she’s pushed into a corner #she climbs the wall she digs under it she breaks through it #you think this girl is screwed when she has to give a deposition on s/t she doesn’t know about #but then she drinks soap to make herself vomit so she can leave #what i fucking love about sarah is she takes the stereotype ‘damsel in distress’ ‘woman who does s/t stupid and is in trouble’ #and it has her bust her way out #she’s a motherfucking lion #and she excels expectations for the usual female protag #you don’t expect a woman to be written to be able to handle her shit #and then you have sarah fucking manning good night mic drop i’m done #she is so strong and intelligent and resourceful and i can’t right now i really can’t #and au where sarah did this for beth and beth is like damn manning i underestimated you bye
