Mar. 9th Data Patch Notice (Version Update)

Hello, this is the Wannabe Challenge Team.

Wannabe Challenge will be performing a data patch on Mar. 9th.

■Patch Schedule

- The data patch is scheduled to take place on Mar. 9th 6pm (GMT-8)​​​ * It will proceed without maintenance, and it may incur an unstable connection.

* After the patch, please update the app to the latest version for smooth gameplay.​​​

■Patch Details

- Data update for service stabilization and store guide compliance

- iOS minimum specification requiprement changed from 10.0 or later to 11.0 or later

  * You can check your software version information through [Device Settings → General → Info → Version].

  * You can update your software through [Device Settings → General → Update Software]

- iOS account delete function added (iOS only)

  : Access the game's title page and go to [Settings] → [System] → [Delete Account]​​​​

Hello, this is the Wannabe Challenge Team.

It already has been 3 years since we launched the Wannabe Challenge.

We want to show our sincerest gratitude to the Wannabistas for the long-lasted love.

Also, we have prepared a special 3rd-anniversary check-in event, so check out the details below and don't forget to participate!

: 5-Day Check-In Event!

: Nov. 23rd - Nov. 27th (for each server)

* The applied event time varies for each server.

■ Event Detail

: Check-in to the game each day and get your rewards!

※ Please Note

- The gift will be sent to your in-game mailbox. (For each server)

- Only 1 reward is available per account.

- This is a separate event from the monthly Check-In X2 Event running every 21st - 28th. You can participate in both events.

- Please try closing the app and logging in again if you didn't receive your rewards during the reward period.

Helow, I have a question, will there be an event for Yoo Hansol/Yoo Eungyeol's 253 birthday? Because July 30 is his b-day and Com2us is not having any updates yet. If its alright can you atleast a rate from 1/10 if there gonna make an event. Thank You🌸

There won't be any new events from this point on, and no one knows except Com2uS themselves what's going in store for Wannabe Challenge in the future.

However, take this response with a grain of salt. You can still ask CS regarding the future of the game, but you'll likely receive a templated response.

Helow this may be a weird question but is there a year that is set in Wannabe Challenge Storyline? For example Tears Of Themis the storyline is set on 2030(i don't play this game, i only watch it on youtube). Thank You🌸 {I'm sorry for asking many questions🥲}

Hello there, I've checked both prologues and the first few story stages of the game and there doesn't seem to be any explicit mention of timeline.

However, 1-1 story chapter do mention that the game sets off in MC's birthday and that's it.

As far as my memory is concerned, I don't recall any explicit mention of timeline in various event stages.

Of course, if anyone can point out any explicit mention for that matter, I stand to be corrected.

Helow. I just want to ask, is there a way to change nickname in wannabe challenge without buying cards(the pink cards for nickname)? Thank You🌸

Hi there, as far as I know, if the game requires you a certain item for it, it means there is no other way to bypass it.

So you need to buy the Nickname Change Ticket (Pink) for that. This ticket allows you to change your nickname in Wannabe (the in-game social media) and the Name Change Ticket (Blue) allows you to change your MC's name.

The way how these tickets were named are kind of confusing but it is what it is.

Helow🌸 I just want to ask, is the game is on haitus? Because I notice that there are no new events, only the past events(which is great for someone who is new to the game) but I'm worried because I read the other question a while ago and you said that the lead artist for the game has quit. And I was thinking the reason why the game has no new updates is because they are in a haitus and trying to find a new lead artist to join the company and continue the game. Thank you😁🌸

No one really knows to your question, except Com2uS themselves.

There is a lot of rumor surrounding the game's shutdown but there is no definitive conclusion to that and the developer is being secretive about it.

The lead artist has quit due to various reasons but that doesn't mean the art department has been handled by that person alone.

A Korean player told us that the lead artist is looking for a job on Korean sites due to them quitting from their recent employment.

However, due to language barrier, and the official Wannabe Challenge Facebook Page not posting in regards to the game's status, please take these responses with a grain of salt.

Hi do you think the game will be abandoned 😞? I find it weird that there are no events, not even the monthly exp ones (I forget what they're called)

There are events just the rerun ones are being held. We still have monthly sign in evermores if that's what you're asking.

It's difficult to deduce at this point whether the game will shutdown or not but the lead artist has already quit a Korean player told us on Naver/Discord.

If you ask CS regarding the situation, they will provide vague responses and dismiss direct conclusion to the subject matter, this is so because they cannot answer beyond their authority.

If anything, the game will be in a state of limbo much like other Com2uS games on Playstore/Appstore.

However, the community are being hopeful about it and there are tons of things the game lacks and needs improvement on.

Hi! I’ve been trying to star rank up my R card from 3 stars to 4, but even though my level now is 30, a message “not enough level” and level 30 required appears on screen. What can i do? Do i need to evolve first to star rank up then? Thanks!

You're confusing the evermore's level to your player level. The game is asking you to level your evermore to level 30 so it can be starred up.

Your player level has nothing to do with this mechanic. We hope this answers your question! 🙂

Helow🌸 I just want to ask if I'm the only one that doesn't have any notification about the app. I never close the notification, but I still have a notification last week monday. And rhe next day I almost forgot to play the game because I didn't get any notification. I aways get the notification at around 12:00nn but about almost 10 days I still didn't get any notification so I tend to forgot to play the game. So I want to ask if the app is updating or fixing something? Thank You😁🌸
