Do you ever crush and break inside while dancing in a ballroom full of noble men and ladies?

Laughing faces laugh but never at their own expenses.

Do you ever feel that you are helpless,

Like you're just a makeup and a joke inside a pile of meat too rotten and pretentious?

How many jesters can you still remember?

How many playwrights graced the likes of you with more than just a sentence?

And when you're crying, spilling out your guts, your screaming is so violent, it hurts.

Your throat is sore like you have sung a thousand songs that even bards have never heard.

Your face is red and paint is slowly coming off but you are nameless.

And everyone around is giggling at your humorous attempts at breaking down and falling into pieces like a house of cards.

Well aren't you faceless?

And everyone is jesting now, well aint it what you aimed for?

They tell you that you made their day, you're such an entertainer.

Like you were playing, who are you then, if not a good pretender,

So keep on dancing, like it's a game of sorts, like you have never meant it - the words you kept inside for longer than you thought, the words that were ignored.

Oh tell me, my sweet jester, do you want to stay like that forever?

Or are you dreaming secretly of falling into nothingness of death like it's a nap of sorts, but just a little better?
